Only semi related (cause covid and unemployment). I did not lose my job during covid. But someone pretended to be me, and this pretend me claimed to have lost their pretend job and this person was paid $11,000 in real money unemployment benefits in my name. For which I received a W2 and was expected to pay taxes on.

I got it fixed, but in a year of so many other worries it was just another damn thing to navigate.

How stressful to be under threat of having to pay back the $. Nothing is ever easy. Especially when you really just need it to be easy.
