This is absolutely one of the best posts I have seen in almost five years on this gig!
After reflecting on this for a bit, perhaps "paradise" isn't really a thing, but a utopic ideal that keeps us questing to always reach for something better... in a sense, one of the definitions of hope. And maybe it demonstrates the old truism that "it's not the DESTINATION that matters, so much as the JOURNEY."

I'm glad you came by and read this and I'm glad to see you are still active and reading posts after five years. That just goes to show we are looking for paradise.
The fact that you or any human being would question or doubt "paradise" just provides more evidence to me that there may be something there. But we are not in 1929 or 1989 or in some afterlife dream. We are living in 2021. We might as well make the best of it before it is gone.
