RE: Pob word of the week contest : solitude

in Proof of Brain3 years ago

If not any other thing, having a silent time to yourself will always bring you respect. I do have a friend that will always try to create a conversation with people even when they don’t want to, he always finds it difficult to resist explanations. It got to an extent, people started to shun him off when he speaks.

On the other hand I do have a departmental mate that really speaks, when ever he opens his mouth to talk, everyone keeps quiet knowing that he only speaks when there is something very important to pass across.

I am not saying that it is bad to free up with people, what I am saying is everything has limits in life, one must learn where and when to talk or to stay alone. It’s called discipline
