RE: Evolution of Paradise

in Proof of Brain3 years ago

Thanks a lot for this collection of songs. I was stock in ''Woody Guthrie- This Land Is Your Land.'' I knew the song, but I wasn't thinking that deep when I was listening to it. It's even in my playlist for a long time. I even cried a bit. I know what's going on to the world, and how the ''Paradise'' is harder and harder to achieve. Humanity is going crazy and maybe the best ''Paradise'' for this earth when there will be no people on it. The nature is suffering, animals are killed, now people are attacked by big pharma, and governments. Maybe I'm a bit negative about all this, but I would say that I'm glad living in this time because I feel awake now. And more and more people are opening their eyes to the world, and maybe that's the last chance for humanity to build the perfect Paradise.

I meant this song for those who are reading this :

Thanks a lot. I understand now why @onealfa promoted and upvoted this. This is really touchy, beautiful and inspiring !

This song has many remakes. If you have time @clixmoney, look more into the life of Woody Guthrie and the history of this song.

Woody was blacklisted by the FBI in 1944 for writing a newspaper column for the Sunday Worker. In the sixties he was suffering from Huntington's disease. Somehow Bob Dylan had a way of searching out people suffering from injustice. Here is how he found Woody. https://www.woodyguthrie.org/merchandise/oklahomagazette.htm

would say that I'm glad living in this time because I feel awake now.

My head hurts thinking about the next 100 years, but that's the most obvious inference coming to my mind after reading. Not, "how screwed is music gonna be?" but "how screwed is this world going to be?" Today I can breathe and drink water and smile. I'm just gonna call that paradise.
