Talk about a curve ball basically they will bridge in assets from ETH to WAX similar to how Splinterlands is set up. Other then the company having to pay the ETH gas to get it to WAX transfer once there is free. The NFT end of the Virtual machines transfers is not currently active but the ETH alt bridge is which is like one of the primary steps so its under way.
