I can't help but laugh at the thought of the black and white stray stealing the fish. It seems like a comical scene as it was caught by the owner haha.

My two former cats were very different. One wouldn't dare jump on the counter or table and the other would only jump on the table. It was my fault because I allowed it. You'll hate to hear that I let her sit on the table while we had dinner and if I ate spinach or leafy greens she would try to have some.

It's true that they can be compared to people. Some are kind, some phyco and some funny etc. Yours are perfect beings.
