Goal Orientation in Life and Work

in Proof of Brain4 years ago (edited)

Like the words say themselves, life goals are objectives to put into place over the course of your lifetime.having a strong feelings which concerns your life goals is that major factor that will actually give you the effective and extra push to be able to actually take those steps each and also every day. When you are walking through the woods at night, your goal is not just to get to the next camp ground, but rather to find that beautiful place by the light of the moon. Your goal is to see it all the way through to the end.

Goal setting also helps us to find that place where the light is by the moonlight. It helps us reach that goal that is far off in the future. However, when you are setting goals you must be realistic and you must also be willing to do whatever it takes no matter how many mountains you have to climb on top of them.

Many of the great goals in history have come from people that were simply setting objectives along the path to becoming a successful person. There are many examples of these types of people from Ben Franklin to Thomas Jefferson to John Kennedy and so on. One thing that you will notice with these goal setters is that they had a clear vision of what they wanted. For these individuals, the road to success was not one that was traveled slowly but rather they set goals that were bold and they made sure that they saw those goals through no matter what obstacles they faced along the way.

So what exactly does having the courage to pursue your goals mean? Does it mean that you are crazy or that you are weak? No, it doesn't mean that at all. As someone who has struggled with my own personal goals I know that the drive to succeed is real. It is that same drive that is in every single one of us and for that reason we can all benefit from having clear written goals in life.

In today's society there is a lot of distractions, which makes achieving your goals that much more difficult. People tend to get distracted when working on their goals. This distraction makes it so that it is easy to just give up on the idea altogether. On the other hand, if you set clear goals that you can see into your future you will be much more motivated to make that future happen. This is why it is so important that you have something to drive you to achieve your goals.

Having a mentor to walk you through the process is an excellent way to start. Many of the goals in life can be done with very little effort if you take advantage of the long-term approach. When I speak with people who are serious about making a change in their life, I often advise them to get a mentor. It is really true what they say about how seeing goals as goals can be a powerful motivator. In many cases people set short-term goals that seem too easily achieved only to find that they never reach them. Getting a mentor will take you out of that rut and help you focus your efforts and get those results you desire.

Goal orientated mindset is one of the best motivational factors around. You will be much more likely to put forth the effort required to succeed if you have a clearly defined set of goals and aspirations to work towards. Having your goals in front of you and visualizing your success as soon as possible can significantly increase your level of motivation. Those who do not have clearly defined goals tend to fall into the trap of being so close to success but then giving up because they can't sustain the momentum. Having your goals in front of you and visualizing your success is a great way to keep that momentum going.

Having clear goal oriented goals in front of you gives us the power to stop second guessing ourselves and instead decide with confidence whether or not we are on track. It tells us exactly what we need to do to get there and gives us the power to eliminate all the roadblocks that stand in our way. This in turn will increase our motivation levels as we know exactly what we need to do to move forward and reach our goals. When you are able to stop second guessing yourself and tell if you are on track or not, it gives us a much better sense of personal confidence which in turn gives us an increased level of self-esteem. In many cases, the confidence we have comes from having something that motivates us to stay on track. This is the case with goal setting as well as many other areas of life
