😂😂 your pidgin is on point where did you learn it?

Although your proverb is also used to represent a situation where one has to conform to a certain way because of some certain challenge they face. Some people say na condition make crayfish bend to mean if I had a choice I wouldn't be in this position right now.

familiarity breeds contempt is also what we refer to as see finish

Learnt it from my visit to Benin, Edo state some years years ago. The pidgin language seems funny when spoken. I believe you even gave a better rendition of the translation than me.

Wow, you've been to Benin, that's where I'm from! That's why your pidgin is good, the pidgin there and the one in Rivers state is way more concrete than you hear in other states.

Wow that's cool. I always love the Edo/benin people and their sense of humour. Very true also think the delta state people also have quite a funny one if not the best one has I think the pidgin language all originated from there. might be wrong on this one though

Lol Benin and Delta were once living together as a people, there were referred to as Bendel then. Until they separated into different states. So basically the language belongs to the two state but the accent and slangs are different depending on the state.

Alright. You seem to know a lot about the origin. Great to now know this. Thanks for the history :-)
