The post made me smile @davidbright. This is the first time I have found out that you are a teacher. A teacher is much more important than any other profession. He has an important role in building the mindset of people.
I know someone who wanted to be a teacher but got a high paid job in a bank. Later on he found a teaching job at the university. He quit the bank job and went for a job that paid him 40% of what he was earning at the bank. For this, his fiance left him but he was satisfied dor perusing his dream. Lol. The story makes no connection to yours but the teaching and bankers shift reminded me of this.

Am so glad I made someone smile.. That means I have accomplished something today.. I thought you knew I was a teacher during our time on uptrennd... Anyway am a proud teacher and it seems I will have to write something about my profession soon just for the sake of bragging about it... Lol... Indeed, there is no profession like the teaching profession.
Thanks for sharing the story though.. I believe it goes a long way to stress the point that there is nothing compared to the teaching profession. Had it been his fiancee understands this, she wouldn't have left him...

I think she was more concerned about his financial status than his passion. It is better to not be in a relationship whom you are not satisfied with.
I didn't get at uu that you are a teacher though I came accross a couple of post that showed your reflection on teaching profession but I didn't get it is the profession you are in @davidbright .

This is the main problem we are having.. Had it been teachers are being paid very well, she wouldnt have left him... I pray she learns her lesson the hard way since she is more interested in his financial status than his passion...
