Arranging Your Life Around Money

in Proof of Brain3 years ago

When you start asking yourself questions like "ording money, arranging your life around money" or "will my money make me happy", you are probably already thinking about how the money will be used and what it will be used for. Will it give you more to do with it? How about traveling? How about a new home? And, perhaps most importantly, will the money also make you more self-sufficient?

There's a lot to be said for the idea that money can actually be the key to happiness. Happiness, after all, is not measured by a survey of material possessions but by how we feel about our capabilities as a person. Money, as a measure of wealth, isn't necessarily bad. Just used the right way. And used in the right way, money can actually enhance your happiness. To arrange your life so you will be happier with the extra cash, consider these three ideas.

The first idea about money and happiness is to arrange your finances in a way that will make you feel better about who you are. Do not just really look at how much cash that you have. Concentrate on how you feel about how much money you have, what you're spending it on, and why you made these decisions. As you arrange your life around money, you will find that you are much happier, not just because of the money but because of who you are as a person. This is a very powerful concept: the feeling of knowing you are strong enough to rely on yourself, to create a happy existence without someone else, and to not just be okay but to excel in every area of your life.

The second idea about money and happiness is one you've probably heard before: leave your bills where they are. Instead of trying to rearrange your life and spend your time rearranging everything, just leave your bills where they are. The more often you put something in a different place (a new place, a new place where the bills are hidden), the longer it stays there. And the longer you've lived there, the more often that place has stayed there, meaning that the bills are probably there for a long time. Leave them where they are, and enjoy the quiet of the emptiness that comes with not having to pay those bills.

Finally, arrange your life around money by getting a grant and spending the money on the things you want. While this may be easier said than done, once you actually get a grant you'll be able to see how easy it really is. Money can be used to fund your dreams and ambitions, to go on vacation, or to pay for school.

In short, arrange your life around money and you will be much happier. But the key to arranging your life around money and being happy is to start small. Start with a holiday that costs less than you earn in a month. Or use that money to pay off a debt that's causing you stress. Keep arranging your life according to money and you will be a happier person.

So arrange your life according to money, and see what happens. You may find that money makes things even worse, and that being poor makes you even more happy. Or you may find that you can buy exactly the things you want, and that life is okay as long as you have the money to get those things. You won't be able to know until you try, but at least you'll see if there's a path to happiness after all.

So arrange your life according to money and see if it gets you anywhere. Or if not, why not give it a shot. It's not too late to change the way you think about money and planning. If you can change the way you think, you can arrange your life around money in a way that lets you be happy. Only then will you see what true money planning is all about.
