Then agriculture there are so many ways you can sort out your seed storage. This seed storage will also allow so many good things to come into your farm and also into your individual self. I have learned about this so many years ago even when I was in the university of technology Minna. Where I happen to took part in so many Farm activities myself in terms of reigning of animals and also planting of crops. As at that time it happened to be where I was staying was extremely far from the agricultural store or market. Therefore I thought about this seven times how I could involve myself in constant planting of agricultural crops. Then it came to my mind too reach out for storage of seed myself. It wasn't easy for me because as I was studying I was also planting green vegetables and rearing of animals at the same time.

One weekend I summon courage to extract all the seed from my African spinach vegetable garden where so many people were watching me harvesting the very matured seed. After the harvesting I also proceeded to drying of the seed under the Sun. If you happen to be someone that have ever traveled to the northern part of Nigeria you will absolutely know that it is extremely hot. So it took me just 24 hours to sun dry the seed and I kept them inside an empty tin. After that, that was how it's all began I also rescued myself from constant purchase and buying of seed.

This method of acquiring seed should be done regularly as a farmer so that you will get your seed store updated. It may not look extremely easy but gradually when you start to store different type of seed of different vegetables then you will know what exactly I am talking about and for how much you would have spent for buying of seed alone. So I also included this method of storageing seed and I also love to expose this method generally and constantly. That was why I also had some helping hands on the farm. When we got to the farm the children rally around and they went ahead to sort out the seed jointly has shown in the picture.

I will say that it is the Joy that filled my heart when I see the kids involving in Farm activity one way or the other. This is to show that gradually pains will definitely change even when I have female farmers all the way. It is a very top notch priority. I took some pictures when we were on the farm doing the harvesting and sorting out of the seeds.

And the picture below you can see the excitement on their face which means that in one way or the other even when you are playing on the farm you are at well learning at the same time.

The first thing I did when we got to the farm was to analyze the Lagos spinach during vegetable seed if it is absolutely ready for harvesting. You should also maintain what is called regular routine on the farm likewise you should know when you are a very full matured green vegetable seed on your farm.

The seed harvesting proceeded after I concluded that it should be removed from the parent plant also the way the Lagos are as at that time were very disturbing to the pineapple section of the farm.

They said analysis should be done to all the green vegetables before planting and this is the more reason why even after planting it and it reaches this particular section of the planting on the farm, you need to put a little bit effort so that you will have a very good seed that are close to 100% in viability for planting.

I'm going to tell us how you can really identify if a very good up matured green vegetable plants on its own is absolutely fully matured with the seed bearing so that you can harvest it and keep it for the next planting this season. Sometimes you go before now it has happened to me before when I harvested premature seeds. And at the long run it was just a wasteful effort that does not count.

This particular process in farming is exclusive because it has been of help to me for so many years. That is why you need to get updated yourself as a farmer because when you keep on visiting agricultural store to buy different seed every 6 months or 12 months is not really advisable. That is why we are human and we should be able to be in any way creative for ourselves.

For the past 3 to 4 years there are just some specific seed I bought. When you talk of the African spinach seed I have it in my own store which I produce myself can I also process it. When you talk of the Lagos spinach I also have it already stop and I also have some which I look up to in some weeks time. I also have more across it which I am going to plant out of it in my next post. Although we are about to enter the dry season partial.
