Hello Hivers 💘💕,

  • Nowadays we have so many ways of communication which has not been in existence for so many decades. But now we have them in our fingertips to release information,to source for information, to get more clue to questions and discussions. Because when you have this type of opportunities around you, you must be able to use this Avenue to ask questions and also to gain more knowledge about what it seems to be a problem. Likewise I also got to know about so many of this Avenue such as discord channel, Twitter handle, email, WhatsApp and so on. And in view of this, I checked my discord channel and I saw this question how many seeds do I have on board this planting season.

I would like to say that in my own case I have different seed which I sourced for, likewise I also have in my own agricultural store. For every planting season I always leave some portion of seed to be planted during the next plant is season. So I took some pictures of what I have at hand although I already booked for more. And also for new seeds that I will try as much as possible to experiment on. I always love to kickstart more on new seeds. You can also engage in this type of practice whereby you plant your crop and during the harvest you leave some portion of seeds to be replanted during the next planting season.

I took some pictures while I was on the farm to show more about what I already have in store.

  • I have the okra seeds. This is how it looks like and it is always a mixture of good and bad seed. Just like any other seed you buy in agricultural store or shop.

  • I also have the Jute vegetable seed. It is a very tiny black seed that is very viable although we have those that are also bad. When you sort them out you know the differences between the good and the bad seed.

This Jute vegetable is always black in color and sometimes it may be Brown in color. You only need to take some few steps to plant it although we have some hybrid seeds. Which does not really need any further process before planting it.

All you need to do is to remove the seed from the nylon or any type of wrapper. Then you plant it directly into the soil. That is still hybrid specie of the Jute Vegetable Seeds. The other one you need to parboil it for a few minutes before planting it.

  • This is the transparent nylon that also has a opening and closing zip. You can also call it a zip bag. I have been using this for a couple of years now for storing of my seeds and to keep in a very safe place.

  • I have the watermelon seed. It is hybrid seed because as it is shown in the pictures it is not the common type of watermelon you see in the market. So I'm going to give a planting trial to all of this as soon as possible.

  • I also have the cucumber seed. What I always do is that I always visit the agricultural shop regularly to update my seed storage bank.

  • I have different types of tomato seeds.

  • This is one of the leftover tomato seed I sourced from a farmer and that was why I wrote the name that way to signify and also for easy identification.

The one we have here is the eggplant seed. I have two different type of eggplants here and I'm going to explain it. There is one called white eggplant. And the other one is purple eggplant.
