So many reasons are attached to rearing of animals depending on individual farmer or individual person mindset. Sometimes it may be due to earning of some cash or for some charity purposes. And on this charity purpose you must also calculate the time duration that you will use to rear them or keep them in the cage or if time permit you can also wear your animals your poultry bed in a pen which is also refer to as extensive method of keeping poultry animals. Or the free range system.
All these are needed to be calculated effectively and you will also add to it so that at the long run you will not hang on a bad side. You should also know which of the Poultry feed you are to use at different stages. For poultry animals they have different stages which are also peculiar to different feed entirely. You may be suggesting a different type of poultry feed and yet they will not give you a positive response. But when you do a lot of research on this and you meet a professional and to explain to you how to go about it then you are on a safe side. So when I visited the Poultry shop. I mean an agricultural shop. This is a name I give it to it because it comprises of different agricultural farm tools with seed in another section as well, more of some fertilizers as well. So all depends on which of them you are very familiar with to get it sorted out.
I took this pictures so that it will serve as a guide on which of the Poultry feed you intend to use and at a particular stage. When I got to the agric shop they have different type of animal feed which I took the pictures as well as the Poultry bed feeding trough and drinking trough.
- For those of us that are very familiar with the broiler birds. Some of them, I mean the Farmer uses what is called supers stater poultry feed this is a kind of poultry seed designed for the day-old chicks. They are in semi grinded form, which gives the smaller chicks the strength to pick them up from this feeder and it also does a lot of good to them. It also contains necessary nutrients to make them fast growth within few weeks to the next stage of feeding. Which is starter itself or Grower mash or Grower pellets.
The feeding and drinking drugs are designed for different stages like I said earlier which will give the Farmer a rest of mind. The rest of mine is the sense that each stages has its own farmers guide. It will make you to reduce amount of food quantity or water quantity so that it will not be a waste. When you use different fading trough for the day old chick then they will have to find their own means to get into this aluminum feeding trough. In other words it is not designed for that stage. It has a flat designed feeding trough which is recommended for the stage alone. When they are outgrown the state, you use another feeding trough for them again.
So the earlier the better for farmers to engage in proper Farm feasibility and Farm tools to use. Sometimes it is always difficult when you are not financially up. And this is because there will be a lot of ideas coming to your mind even when you are not buoyant enough to buy poultry birds equipment. But it is absolutely recommended that for any type of poultry birds you are engaging in you need a proper and healthy poultry feed as well as good environment to keep them alive.
So you need to do your analysis very well and seek for professional advices. The professional advises is not those that are on paper alone but sick for professional farmers who actually are into the practical aspect of farming. When you ask questions from people, you also need to see them on their Farm so that you will absolutely engage in their good sharing experience.
For the laying birds, we have different feed entirely for them and it is also the best way to keep them growing up with absolutely good and healthy feeding routine. One thing about poultry birds is that, with the practical experiment and experience that I already gathered up, when you missed one feeding routine for the laying birds, it will cost them more than 24 hours before they can get back to their Proper position of laying eggs again.
You can see that we have different types of feeding trough and as well as drinking trough for different poultry birds stages. It's now depend on you and your own capacity which of them you can lay Your hands On and buy. For other farmers it is also done this way. You can absolutely buy them in different stages so that even when you have new set of birds, it will be easier for you too navigate through and use the necessary farm equipment and tools.

Absolutely, every step in poultry farming is a real gold. Its need a good caring hands
Poultry farming really gets tricky when you start thinking about all the equipment needed for different bird stages this is the kinda of things that have a huge learning curve so you really have to dedicate to it as you do, baby chicks cannot use the same feeding troughs as grown birds and if you mess up just one feeding time with laying hens they take forever to get back on track with egg production. So many changes happen over time and the real challenge might be having enough money to buy everything at once, most people end up getting stuff piece by piece as their budget allows. Getting advice from actual working farmers beats reading theory any day because they know what works in practice not just what sounds good on paper, hopefully one day when Im older I move to the countryside and have a more calm and simple lifestyle, thx for sharing
I love your contribution friend. So many people sometimes are not going to nail things on the head but I will always come for the truth all the time. Learning is every day process. More also, agriculture should be a practical guide not just on four wall of the classroom. There are several things I learnt being opportuned to be on the practical Field that was not included in the classroom.
