TWENTY-TWO CLOUDY AUTUMN SHOTS FROM MY YARD

in Agricultural Mindset3 years ago (edited)

I spent some time in the garden yesterday.

img_7856_malo.jpg

Moved and rearranged some stuff.

(Enlargeable)

Worked around trees. Cut and cleaned around.

Picked up the rotting pomegranates from the ground ...

img_7857_malo.jpg

... to clear the place and prepare it for trimming.

img_7855_malo.jpg

When I finished making the tall grass short, a few more pomegranates fell from the tree.

As always, while I was doing things around the garden, the cats were helping. You can see the cat called Palchich in this shot.

img_7860_malo.jpg

The cats were helping and exploring the slightly changed environment. This cat is called Miaucula.

A bit later, when I had to pick something from the trunk of my car ...

(Enlargeable)

... I noticed an insect on the car's left headlight. It was a winged termite. The Reticulitermes speratus.

img_5902_malo.jpg

Not far from there, on the hud of the car, I photographed a winged ant.

img_7869_malo.jpg

The day was dull and cloudy, slightly gloomy as well so light in the house was on.

img_7840_malo.jpg

These leaves fell from the elderberry tree ...

img_7839_malo.jpg

... right into the small white bucket near the outdoor sink. The bucket was filled with rainwater ...

img_7843_malo.jpg

... and soon the cat called Farabuto came for a drink.

(Enlargeable)

Farabuto always uses his paws when drinking.

img_7854_samomalo.jpg

Miaukula was crouched nearby, on the other side of the sink.

(Enlargeable)

Palchich was sneaking up and down the garden fence, trying to find the way to the birds on the elderberry tree.

(Enlargeable)

A bit later Miaukula entered the house like a thief, through the kitchen window. I entered regularly, through the door ... as the first sparse raindrops started to fall.

As always in these posts on HIVE, the photographs are my work.

Great cats photos😂

That 'all black' dude will look goid and dangerous in the night😊

I like the cute cat photo, the cat is adorable

I like cats very much. You have done a very good photography of a black cat

You have your own pomegranate tree? Awesome:)

Yes :) Here the pomegranates are very usual. Many gardens have them.

Far too cold where I am.

You have the cold climate stuff that we lack. :) Probably the deep snow as well?

You have lovely kittens, @borjan.

The cat is very cute, I really like cats, their behavior is very cute🥰🥰🤗

The position of the cat on the tree looks very beautiful! pomegranates vegetable or fruit?

Fruits.

That's so cool that you have a pomegranate tree. I've never known or seen anyone with one. You must eat pomegranate all the time!

I eat them a lot :D in autumn. The rest is eaten by friends and families.

Loved this glimpse of your yard and cat helpers. :))

There is plenty of action with cats around the yard. :)

Lucky you, having cats helping you out and working in your homeyard.

I really really like the cat pictures that you share, in my house there is also a cat, cats are cute animals, thank you for sharing.
