Today I went to the fields. The peas are blooming. The weather is cold and dry, but a light breeze has enveloped the entire area.
A few days ago, when I visited this crop, it was quite small. I could see the flowers that come before the fruit sets. But the fruits are completely ready and can be separated from the plants. Since they have a rate of three for Pakistanis, it can bring a good income.
I can also see a large number of flowers and pods. Some are already full of seeds, but some of them are still small, while others are fully developed. If we look at the pods, some will still need time to develop.
It is not that difficult to estimate the fog because as soon as I have photographed the entire field, fog is visible all around. The cold has reached its peak and in the cold it is better to walk wrapped in warm clothes and blankets because it is also important to stay safe from the cold and taking it out for the sake of your work is a routine task.
The farmer is always faced with the question of how to meet the expenses incurred on his crop, especially in Pakistan. Now every farmer knows that if he is cultivating a crop, he will not know what the price will be. He has no idea whether the price will be high or low. In addition, there are farmers who do not know how much they can increase the production or the production may be even less than before. The rates of fertilizers and pesticides are very high and sprays are not available at low prices. Therefore, the farmer's misfortune has always been that he has to harvest the crop but in the dark because he does not have the opportunity to see the price or return the expenses. It is not in his control to come or not.
Weeds have always been a part of a healthy crop and their control is beneficial for the crop. However, after planting every crop, weeds grow and the farmer uses sprays or fertilizers to control them. However, sometimes they become stubborn and like to stay with the crop and the farmer cannot do anything about them. Due to them, the productivity decreases and the farmer also suffers losses.
However, just as I faced losses in my sweet potato crop, this time the potato crop is also likely to suffer losses because the rate is currently at its lowest level. The government will have to think this time.
