Hello hive family hope you all are doing good, today I want to talk about people that gamble, of course gambling as we know is a game, this understanding will help many people see gambling in a different way.
This idea of gambling I personally would say it's a very complicated game, infact as an average person I don't advise you to go into gambling because in reality it is different to win, not that people don't win gambles but before you can you might have been losing for some time.
However due to what I was told, I was made to know that gambling is a very big sin both on the side of God and man, this mindset stood with me even up to this day because I haven't forgotten it, but come to think of it, is gambling really a sin or a bad thing. I really understand it now that gambling is not for the people under the age of 🔞18 why?, Because this stuff has a way of influencing our lives and as an adolescent it might end up as an addiction which can distract your destiny 😀, and also because an under 18 child is not yet financially responsible, so you don't waste your parents money trying to gamble.
That aside, currently I have friends that do gamble so I can tell how their lives are in fact not only my friends but I have seen people who are full time into gambling, they make it their job.
Gambling is is a very risky venture, it actually has the potential of making one rich but then it's of high risk.
I speak with my friends on several occasions about gambling and how he started to even be at this level he is. The good thing about him is that he knows his moves, his sense of statistics helps him a lot but still he always tells me how he loses money and even the amount.
After everything I've done trying to convince him not to gamble he still refuses. He loses money to the extent where he will have to borrow some bucks so he can buy food, with the claims that he just lost his last money to gambling.
The positive side about it is that he has also been able to do some good things with the help of gambling, sometimes he pays his school fees with the money he made from gambling, I don't know how he does it but it works for him.
What I can say about him is that his financial life is not stable even though he has achieved something tangible through gambling yet he still begs sometimes which I find kind of embarrassing to him.
My word of advice is;
don't gamble if you under 18🔞
don't gamble if you have financial crises
don't gamble if you're not ready to lose money
don't gamble if you are a student

I would not advise anybody to gamble. Gambling have to a certain extent become a lifestyle and their is nothing anyone can do about it, I just pray people realise how harmful it is
