Have you ever been frustrated from acting on the wrong information at the wrong time?
Hello, planet lovers!
Yesterday was one of those days i had the urge to kill. I was supposed to start work as an intern at a tech organization—or at least I thought so. I say "thought" because it wasn’t officially confirmed by the manager, and I wasn’t sure. I had asked a friend of mine, who works there, to help me confirm my resumption date and get back to me.
All day and all night, I waited, but I didn’t hear anything from him. I sent messages, I called, but no response. With no other choice, I started prepping for work the next morning. I woke up earlier than usual, determined to get to the office before the 8:30 AM start time I was given. I got up at 5 AM, rushed through my chores, and got ready as fast as I could.
By the time I was finished, I was cutting it close. To make things worse, when I went outside to catch a tricycle, there wasn’t a single one in sight. Perfect. On my first day at work, I was already running late.
I ended up taking a motorcycle instead, but just as I was nearing the office, my friend finally texted me. He said the organization had decided to send me an email about my start date, and until I received it, I didn’t need to show up.
I was so frustrated. After all the stress, I was already close to the office. Should I just go in, or turn around and head home? I was confused and almost yelled at him over the phone.
In the end, I decided to stop by my sister’s house nearby to rest instead. It turned out to be a great decision—I got some well-deserved sleep and even “borrowed” a few clothes (don’t tell her!). I finally headed home later in the evening, feeling a little more at peace.
Anyway, here are some pictures from my cleaning activity.
Shit happens! Sometimes we get frustrated waiting for an informant that would determine our next move. Your day still turned out great anyways and you had a good sleep (also borrowed some of your sisters cloths) 😁😁😁😁
