Day 17/05/2025: My Clean Planet Activities

in CLEAN PLANET8 months ago

Hi, friends How are you all doing? I hope today is going well for you.
We definitely need to talk because some of us are starting to treat garbage cans like flowers that are placed at the corners of our streets just to make the area more aesthetically beautiful. But let's be honest: garbage cans aren't decorations.

Appreciating and seeing a clean road is one thing, but contributing to its upkeep is quite another. Unfortunately, I regularly see people sloppily discarding biscuit wraps, sachets of pure water, and other rubbish on the ground, even when a bin is just a few steps away.

The truth is that littering and cleanliness are choices. In addition to making the area untidy, dumping dirt on the ground attracts flies, foul odors, clogged drains, and even diseases. We may prevent the rippling effect by taking the simple step of using the trashcan.

What if the garbage can is overflowing? Don't just toss your trash beside it and walk away. Hold onto your trash until you can get rid of it correctly, or find another container. That one act reflects who we are and what kind of environment we want to live in.

People's deliberate choice to care for the environment creates clean surroundings. The next time you want to drop that wrap on the floor, ask yourself, "Would I do this in my own living room?"

Let's change the way we think about waste bins because they aren't there for aesthetic reasons. They are there to help us keep the planet healthy and the environment clean.
