Hello everyone
Good evening From my side , I trust our today's activities are going as planned.
I want to use this opportunity to share my experience about a picnic I went recently at ibino beach located at eket akwaibom state.
It was Really a nice one
One of my friends called Emmanuel just brought out the topic all of a sudden at a place we were gathering and having fun one evening like that , what marveled me was the way every other person responded positively to it , within a week time we made every arrangement including a bus that will take us to the beach from ABA .
but something happened on the D day, during the morning we are supposed to be going, everyone came out but remaining one person(Emmanuel ) who is even the person that brought about the topic at first , we have waited for him for a while so we decided to call him through phone call and hear from him to know what the problem might be , I called him but he didn't respond positively, he said he was having issues with his working tools as a tailor and it made him not to complete the work he supposed to have delivered, so he won't be going again with us .
Chai it changed the mood of everyone one of us because we all would have loved it best if we go there being completely as we were from the Start of it which is 18persons . We thought and thought, some even became discouraged and said maybe we should leave it for the next week, I even supported that suggestion also but majority said they won't be available by that next week, so we later started our journey to eket , we drove for like 3 to 4 hours while on the way but at last we reached safely .
But as we are entering the premises some blocked us that each of us have to give them some money before they will allow us to pass , we tried and plead with them with the amount he demanded so one of them who seems to be the head accepted the amount we have and they allowed us .
Now we are inside , time to have some fun, everyone start changing clothes because they want to swim but me I was just snapping and recording some videos because I don't like to swim and I haven't swim for the first time, all of them was gingering me to join them but I refused, at a time I just feel like to taste how it feels to enter water, I now changed my clothes and went in but didn't want to go inside which is where others were , even there's a a way the water will move coming towards my direction I will just run out from there (LoL) that was what I was just doing throughout but I really enjoyed it to be honest.
At a time all of us are done with swimming, now is time to eat and have some refreshments, we bought some foods like rice, soup, pepper soup and different kinds of meat , we ate and drank wine because we came carrying some drinks with us , but we didn't waste much time after eating and drinking, we decided to start going back to ABA because time is no more with us . That's how we entered bus and started coming back , another good thing is that we returned safely. I even forgot to talk about how we rode on a horse there also
That was my first visit to eket beach and i can say it was enjoyable and its a day to be always remembered.
