The solar energy is one of man's useful source of green energy which has been adopted in many parts of the world. Solar energy is derived from the sun and converted into electricity or used directly for heating and lighting purposes. It is a natural and renewable energy source that does not harm the environment or deplete the earth’s natural resources. Many contries depend solely on solar as a mean of generating electricity. This is because solar energy is not only affordable but also easy to install and maintain, especially in places with abundant sunlight.
In many parts of Africa and Nigeria where there is no constant electricity, this solar energy has proven to b more effective when compared to generators. Generators, although widely used, are noisy, require fuel, and emit harmful fumes that are dangerous to human health and the environment. Solar systems, on the other hand, provide a clean and quiet source of power that does not pollute the air or contribute to noise pollution. For the past eight years, our house has been running on a noise free, comfortable and safe solar system. This has saved us the stress of fueling and maintaining generators and has also given us uninterrupted power supply which helps with daily activities and enhances quality of life.
This solar energy has may benefits for human health and everyone should try to adopt this form of energy as it also contribute to a green safer planet. By reducing the amount of greenhouse gases and toxic emissions released into the atmosphere, solar energy helps combat climate change and protects the ozone layer. It also helps in reducing electricity bills and can be a reliable source of income when excess energy is sold back to the grid. The future of energy is green, and solar is leading the way.
