Hive is a Web 3.0 platform, and it's known to all. The decentralization is the beauty of this platform, and I really like this platform very much because I have freedom of speech and nobody can restrict me from sharing my thoughts or opinions.

It's been more than 3 years since I am on this platform. During the time I gained experience and knowledge, and I am continuously trying to do better here. I am really lucky to come to this platform, and I made some achievements also. 3 years of journey is not a huge time, but it's not little either.
In the beginning, I had no idea about the Hive platform. I just knew that it was a writing platform, and I used to share some articles here that I published on other writing platforms. Honestly, I came to this platform to earn some extra, as I used to write posts to publish on other platforms. My engagement was very low, and I didn't receive any reward, and I became demotivated. Naturally, within a few weeks, I lost motivation and left this platform.
I can't recall the reason why I decided to come back to this platform again after 2 months. I was active, and my engagement increased also. I started to acquire knowledge about this complex system of Hive. It was indeed a tough thing to understand, but I was learning little by little. Additionally, one of my friends also helps me a lot to understand this complex system.
Unfortunately, my examination occurred, and I spent all my time on my study. After the examination, I lost motivation to write the article, and it took more than 4 months to return. The return was indeed difficult because it was like starting from the beginning, and all the friends I made earlier were earning quite well from here. I was not jealous, but I regretted staying inactive for so long, and it disappointed me several times. It was a complex feeling. So in the middle, I became inactive again, and it took me another 4 months to come back. But that time I was quite determined, and I gained good knowledge about Hive blockchain.
I came back here considering long-term perspectives, and I am lucky I made that decision. Engagement was not a problem for me anytime, but writing articles on a continuous basis was not an easy task. Finding a topic to write was the most difficult one for me. I discussed it with some of my friends, and they suggested me to participate in community contests, and it was a good suggestion. At the beginning I tried to write 3 articles in a week, then 4 then 5, and at last it turned into 7. So, with consistent effort, I became a user who published articles almost every day. I think little by little I started to enjoy this platform, and I make many friends here. And I don't know how I crossed two more years here. I didn't stop writing and forgot to show up here; it doesn't matter how busy I was. It's because I became used to with Hive platform, and right now I don't think about a life without this platform, although my offline activity is always my priority.
In terms of finance, I think Hive is very helpful for everyone, but I feel Hive is not for greedy ones. It's that I came here to earn money, and still I want to earn money here, but I don't feel disappointed if I don't receive upvotes in my post. It does not hurt me anymore because I think about it from a long-term perspective, and little ups and downs should not be counted. I am treating it as my business. Right now the earnings from here do not have any significant impact in my life, but I think it gives me confidence, as the earnings from hive is currently like backup money in my life.
I am lucky to come here early, and I only crossed 3 years. I am quite satisfied with my Hive journey, and I want to cross more years here. I want to grow old together with my other hiver friend.
If you think that I violated any rules of this platform or my word hurting you or I made any mistakes here , let me inform about it through comments or my other social network . I will try to correct it if I made any mistakes.

I would agree totally with you that it's hard finding what to write on for each day. Sincerely, it isn't easy but what usually helps me is prompt from different communities and also going online to find what to write on and it has been easy. You see, a lot of us are here for the money but along the line, we became addicted and do not worry much if we don't earn because it's a process.
Hive is a home to me and I am happy to be here always.
Many of us were not ready to accept that we were here to make money in the beginning, and I think the motive was not wrong, but now it's not limited to money. I can feel a huge difference between the beginning and the current time when it's about the hive platform. Now I have feelings for the Hive platform. As you said, it's a home for us now.

Your story is a lot of encouragement to newbies finding their foot in the Blockchain. I think your determination played a huge role when you finally decided to return and became active without going back
Hive is indeed not for greedy one because most times, our posts goes without any meaningful rewards and we should just accept it and keep going
For some people, hive is not even a back up fund for them but a full time fund to pay bills
I hope we continue to roll together, sharing knowledge and enjoying what the platform has to offer
It would be my pleasure if someone was encouraged after reading it. If someone wants to be here, s/he must have a long-term vision. Greedy people lose motivation easily, so it's not for them.
I hope we will keep exchanging our thoughts and knowledge like now.
