Have you been disappointed by somebody before? it may be by a friend or family. Tell us what happened. Did you forgive the person? and how are you coping currently?
If you haven't been disappointed 😞 ☹️ in life, it means you are not exiting. It's always painful when it comes from a trusted friend or from a family member. Someone you don't know will hardly disappoint you. Sometimes, we might also be disappointed by our phones, laptops, car's, etc. I have been disappointed severally but i want to share the most annoying one with you.
Around August last year, one of my friends called me on phone 📱. When i picked, he told me that we need to see in person, that he has a business that i will like. Fine, i said because am always looking for new opportunities to explore. When we met at the schedule place, he told me how long he has been in the business and how lucrative it is. After his explanations, i asked him the following questions.
- How are you sure this people won't run away with our money? I have invested in online businesses, when many has invested a lot of money in their system, the will run a system upgrade and that's the end of the business.
- Who is the director of this company/from which country
How do i withdraw my money from the system
What if they run away with my money 🤑 will you refund me back?
With all these questions, he new that i am not interested in the business. I am not ready to invest my hard earned money in any ponzi schemes again i told him.
With his continuous preaching and persuasion, i ended up investing some amount of money. But before then, i told him that am doing this because he's persuading me not from my mind. And he promised to refund me if anything happens. At the end, we had an agreement. If it pays out well, he will take 50% profit of my earnings but he will pay me 100% back of my money if they disappear with my money. He accepted and i transferred the money to his account to carry out the registration process. After the registration, he gave me my login details and showed me the countdown days for the payment to take place. After the countdown, i couldn't find the balance in my back office again. I called him and he told me that they're running system upgrade. Hmmm, hope is not what am thinking 🤔. After two weeks, one month, still system upgrade. I was very disappointed and started calling my friend. Guess what? He stopped picking my calls and at the same time, stopped replying to me on Whatsapp. Out of anger, i dropped him a massage and he replied pleading with me that all the people that registered in the business is on his neck because of their money. And that was how i lost my money till today.
He refused to pay me back as we agreed on. I was bittered and disappointed in him. That really affected our friendship for months. But as times goes on, i decided to let go. I forgave him for deceiving me. What made me to forgive him is because i was once introduced people to a business they losed money. Since they didn't kill me, why would i kill my friend? I decided to let go of everything and we are still good friends now and till tomorrow.
Currently, am not dwelling in the past rather, i follow life the way it is. Sometimes it might be fun 😊 or bitter. You can't predict life. It's just full of ups and downs. I don't invest without carrying out my own research and with God's backing, i will comfortably say, am doing great currently. Though challenges of life is there, but with Jah on my side, i have no reasons to be afraid.
