A shop owner was cleaning his shop and decided to throw all the garbage outside, and it sat there for 3 days and no one did anything about it.
People couldn't pass and the smell was awful, there was rotten food and a lot more inside this trash. My little brother and I decided to do something about it and clean that mess.
We bought gloves, face masks and plastic bags to start the cleaning. But, as soon as we started we realized that those regular black plastic bags won't work because there was a lot of wood. So, we bought those bigger bags.
It took us about 2 hours to clean that mess, and when we started two more people joined to help us, we just took the initiative and they were then encouraged to contribute.
It was very dangerous to be honest because there were syringes, glass, very thin wood that could cut our hands. I was super careful not to get hurt and especially careful to make sure my little brother doesn't get hurt as well.
My younger brother is only 11 years old, and he was super excited about the thing, he loved the idea of making a change and so did I.
I paid someone with a Tuk-Tuk to come and remove these bags into a dump where bigger trash cars will come and take them
After we're done I was very proud that among all people who passed and didn't do anything about it, we decided to do something and we actually did.
I'm looking forward to cleaning a lot more places and documenting the whole process, because I believe everyone who passed there was hurt because of the smell and even the view, and we've helped make people's lives even 0.0001% better, which is truly a great feeling.
I'll do a lot more in the future and document
