Good day, fellow hivers, welcome to my blog. I carried out my cleaning activity as I used to do. I went to a neighbouring community to carry out the task. The environment had been littered with different waste.
Many people drop their water sachets, biscuits nylon, bottled or canned drinks containers and candy packs either by the roadsides, in boarded vehicles or on highways. All this indiscriminate dumping of refuse should be discouraged.
An unclean environment can do many harm and adverse effects on humans, especially young children because they are more vulnerable to diseases. Solid waste disposals that are indiscriminately disposed of also expose human beings to environmental harm, including drainage obstruction, widespread infectious diseases, cholera, diarrhoea, and flooding.
It also contributes to typhoid fever, and waterway blockage, which results in flies, ticks, and mosquito breeding that cause malaria and other diseases. Human health and the environment need to be protected from unhygienic conditions caused by
indiscriminate solid waste disposal that has always led to pollution and outbreaks of diseases
