Photographs are from June 15th 2023, first baby moose was seen on May 31st. Spring came late this year, it took forever for the snow to melt, there was quite a bit of it over winter. The moose were very skinny looking coming out of winter this year.
Pictures were taken through my window.
Most all baby moose look the same.
Even in black and white.
Check out those moose ice breaks on moms leg! This picture also reminds me of that leg lamp on the Christmas story movie lol

They go out right away with mom like horses
and do not hibernate. They weigh about 25 to 35 pounds,
by autumn they can weigh about 300 to 400 pounds.
Two to three feet tall at birth, adults range from
around five feet to seven feet tall. Weight from
800 to 1100 pounds.

Such a sweet little one! Great capture!
Thank you β€ @cezary-io!
They sure are a joy to see :-)
Wonderful pictures, skinny Mama and frisky baby :)
Thank you β€ @agmoore! :-)
He was real frisky running around and
head butting mom lol
Art of views.
Thank you @callmemaungthan! :-)
Wow! Photo right out the window? Impressive! Are they not aggressive? In our region, moose can sometimes attack if they feel threatened.
Thank you β€ @ratel! :-)
Oh yes they can be very aggressive, stomp, kick and bite.
But for the most part they are mellow. They do like looking
int my window at times, I've seen pictures of them sticking
their head in a mc donalds drive up window and walking in
a safeway store lol
I had never seen a baby moose before and it is beautiful hehehe, even if they are all very similar, they are beautiful.
Thank you β€ @marpa! :-)
They are so cute and remind me of baby horses
how they run around and play and check out new things.
Very tiny and cute baby moose! Hope thereβll be more!
Thank you β€ @kaminchan! :-)
Oh there is more lol
Oh! Good! Take more photos to show us.π
Happy to see a post from you β€οΈ
Baby moose are so lovely
Thank you β€ @beeber! :-)
Yes it had been awhile, so much going on.
I just love seeing the moose big and small walking by.
So much fun :) Hopefully next winter will be easier on them!

more easy on all of us!
Great photos! what a joy to see a baby moose. We finally saw a moose here in Vermont... well New Hampshire actually but out the window in a swampy area flying by at 75 mph from the interstate π I tried to stop but by the time I could we were miles past.
Thank you β€ @steven-patrick! :-)
A fly by moose huh lol
