These will be the last pictures posted from the “Swamp”, otherwise known as the trail to the Paint Pots. How often do you see mud coloured like this? Kind of looks like what the surface of mars could look like in places. Located in Kootenay National Park, British Columbia. Perhaps the most underrated of the four Canadian Rockies parks. In fact there are so many excellent hikes, glaciers, and Hot Springs to visit. Already looking forward to my next excursion to this fantastic place.

Those colours look more like something you'd expect to see in Africa, or maybe South America, than Canada. Is that an iron deposit? Or bauxite?
Iron is the mineral in this area. Not typical canadian-like earth.
Very beautiful picture.@daveks.
Thanks
I think there is something that needs to be improved both in terms of pictures and others, please enlighten me about my post, thank you. You're welcome, @daveks Sorry in advance, I wanted to ask you recently I was seen appearing frequently in your community.
Yes, I agree. Have noticed an increase in “trashy” under par posts. Also, I suspect some fraudulent activity as well, which I am monitoring closely.
Why fraud?
I am not speaking about your account, but others.
