ESPAÑOL
Yo no soy un profesor, ni un tipo tan instruido, pero da vergüenza ajena ver lo que sucede hoy en día con la educación; Resumiendo desde un principio: los estudiantes de esta generación no están preparados para lo que les viene.
En mi país, al igual que en muchos otros, la educación básica e intermedia siempre ha sido un problema, en mi caso particular, cuando me inscribí para estudiar informática, primero nos hicieron entrar en un curso introductorio, donde los profesores sistemáticamente criticaban todo el sistema escolar, ya que muchos fallábamos hasta en las pruebas más básicas.
Es un chiste común en las redes sociales el decir que nada de lo que ves te servirá en la vida común , pero no es cierto y ahora, con la pandemia del covid-19 el problema se ha vuelto peor, en Venezuela por ejemplo, el Ministerio de Educación ha prohibido terminantemente a los profesores reprobar a los alumnos, acá las clases online son un juego, nadie las toma en serio y lo que hace aun peor el caso es que muchos de los alumnos se amparan tras el hecho (real o ficticio) de que no tienen tan siquiera un smartphone para “asistir” a las clases, aunado a eso, se hizo de conocimiento publico el hecho de que los profesores no pueden reprobar a nadie y los alumnos se aprovecharon de la situación, de que manera? Fácil, una amiga mía, quien es profesora en un instituto privado de educación media me comento que tiene alumnos que no han asistido a ninguna clase virtual en lo que va de año y que obviamente no han entregado ninguna asignatura y aun así, el Gobierno la obliga a pasarlos al siguiente nivel. ¿Es acaso justo? Obviamente no y mi opinión personal es que se está levantando una generación de estudiantes (que posiblemente se conviertan en profesionales) extremadamente mediocre y que, si yo pensaba que mi formación había sido deficiente, ahora es cuando nos falta mucho por ver.
Es realmente lamentable que en medio de toda esta crisis nadie este mirando correctamente hacia el futuro y estoy convencido de que esta situación, a este nivel no solo ocurre en Venezuela sino en muchos lugares en los que siguen políticas igual de estúpidas e irresponsables en materia educativa.

I am not a teacher, or a very well educated guy, but it is embarrassing to see what is happening today with education; Summarizing from the beginning: the students of this generation are not prepared for what is coming.
In my country, as in many others, basic and intermediate education has always been a problem, in my particular case, when I signed up to study computer science, they first made us enter an introductory course, where teachers systematically criticized the entire school system, as many of us failed even the most basic tests.
It is a common joke on social networks to say that nothing you see will serve you in ordinary life, but it is not true and now, with the pandemic of covid-19 the problem has become worse, in Venezuela for example, the Ministry of Education has strictly forbidden teachers to fail students, here online classes are a game, Nobody takes them seriously and what makes the case even worse is that many of the students take refuge behind the fact (real or fictitious) that they do not even have a smartphone to "attend" classes, added to that, it became public knowledge that teachers can not fail anyone and students took advantage of the situation, how? Easy, a friend of mine, who is a teacher in a private high school told me that she has students who have not attended any virtual class so far this year and obviously have not delivered any subject and yet, the government forces her to pass them to the next level. Is it fair? Obviously not and my personal opinion is that a generation of students (who will possibly become professionals) is being raised that is extremely mediocre and that, if I thought that my training had been deficient, now is when we have a long way to go.
It is really unfortunate that in the middle of all this crisis nobody is looking correctly towards the future and I am convinced that this situation, at this level, is not only happening in Venezuela but in many places where they follow equally stupid and irresponsible policies in education.
