Some tips on how to make the most of the day

Nowadays it is very common to feel frustrated or stressed by not fulfilling the activities we want to do during the day, and we feel that time is not enough, which can lead us to physical and mental fatigue, to exhaustion that produces mood swings and also affects the people around us.

We also have to take into account that sometimes we may demand too much of ourselves and want to absorb all the activities and responsibilities, thus filling ourselves with too many objectives to fulfil.

There may be many pending activities such as, for example, work, family, taking care of the home, children and parents, however, we should not leave aside the time that should be dedicated to rest, recharge energy, exercise, distraction, among others, and we should look for ways to make the most of the time and manage it in the best way possible.

Some tips include making the most of the day from very early in the morning, having a routine that allows for exercise, eating a balanced meal and starting with the tasks, which is why it is important to first of all maintain good organisation and planning, where the activities to be carried out and the priority of each one of them are very well defined, as well as the time available for their execution.

One recommendation is to make a list of tasks beforehand, which can generate a feeling of greater control. Of course, sometimes it will be necessary to make a change or two, so you can be flexible and make the necessary adjustments.

It is very important to identify those activities that do not allow progress that only cause distraction and waste of time, for some people it is easy to be distracted by the phone, television, tablet or any other device, on the other hand it is also important to have a good sleeping routine which will allow to comply with the established schedules.

It should be clear that in a day sometimes it is not possible to do everything and when several activities are performed at the same time it is possible that the result is not the desired one and generates more fatigue, it is advisable to have an order in the tasks so you can make use of the triggers of action to not deviate.

Delegating tasks is also a good strategy for the fulfilment of objectives; you can seek support from other people capable of carrying out the assigned activities and thus focus on another that requires more attention.

As we can see, there are several strategies that can be used to avoid overloading ourselves with activities and feeling exhausted and disappointed, in this way we can fulfil our responsibilities and make better use of our time.
