Esto es lo que queda, por poco tiempo, de la réplica del galeón Santísima Trinidad. Es el último sitio donde estará amarrado hasta el momento de su desguace el mes que viene. Está amarrado en este muelle del puerto de Alicante (España) desde 2017 esperando la oferta de algún comprador que quiera hacerse con el y con los gastos de reparación. Como los trabajos de reparación son bastante costosos y no hay ofertas, va a desguazarse antes de que se hunda debido a su deteriorado estado.
El original fué construido en los astilleros de la Habana en 1769 y fue hundido durante la batalla de Trafalgar en 1805. Esta réplica del Galeón Santísima Trinidad tenía licencia para operar como bar y sala de fiestas. Hasta el año 2017 estuvo amarrado en otro muelle del puerto de Alicante mucho más concurrido y accesible. Era un atractivo turístico que tuvo mucho éxito durante el tiempo que estuvo abierto al público. Una lástima.

This is what remains, for a short time, of the replica of the Galleon Santísima Trinidad. It is the last place where it will be moored until the time of its scrapping next month. It has been moored at this dock in the port of Alicante (Spain) since 2017 awaiting the offer of some buyer who wants to get hold of it and the repair costs.
