Mi presentación en HIVE/ My HIVE presentation

Saludos amigos de hive blog, es un gusto formar parte de esta comunidad. Mi nombre es Yoalis Josefina Rondón Vivas, soy ama de casa, aunque tiempo atrás me desempeñe en el sector salud, como enfermera y auxiliar de farmacia.

Greetings friends of hive blog, it is a pleasure to be part of this community. My name is Yoalis Josefina Rondón Vivas, I am a housewife, although some time ago I worked in the health sector, as a nurse and pharmacy assistant.

Soy venezolana, nacida en la capital (Caracas), ciudad donde la economía se sustenta en las compañías tanto públicas como privadas que prestan diversos servicios, entre los que destacan la manufactura, principalmente en la industria textil; y el procesamiento de alimentos.

I am Venezuelan, born in the capital (Caracas), a city where the economy is based on both public and private companies that provide various services, including manufacturing, mainly in the textile industry, and food processing.

Aunque gran parte de mi juventud transcurrió en Upata, Estado Bolívar, donde considero viví las mejores experiencias de mi vida, al igual que hice valiosas amistades que hoy en día conservo desde la distancia.

Although I only have my mother alive, since my father passed away two months ago of terminal cancer and due to the unfortunate situation that my country is going through, it was impossible for me to go to the burial of his mortal remains, since he perished in another state; but he is always present in my heart and thoughts.

Formo parte de una gran familia, soy madre de tres hijos (un varón y dos hembras);. Tengo unos padres excelentes a los cuáles amo con toda mi alma, estos me dieron a tres hermanos menores a los cuales respeto y admiro mucho.

I am part of a big family, I am the mother of three children (one boy and two girls). I have excellent parents whom I love with all my soul, they gave me three younger brothers whom I respect and admire very much.

Aunque con vida tengo solo a mi madre, puesto que mi padre falleció hace dos meses de un cáncer terminal y motivado a la lamentable situación que atraviesa mi país fue imposible para mí ir al sepultamiento de sus restos mortales, ya que pereció en otro Estado; pero igualmente siempre está presente en mi corazón y pensamientos.

Como mencione anteriormente mi país actualmente sufre las consecuencias de la mala gestión por parte del estado de la gran cantidad de recursos naturales que se tienen a disposición, como consecuencia el nivel de calidad de vida de los venezolanos ha mermado, al no haber producción nacional ni poder adquisitivo por parte de los ciudadanos.

As I mentioned before, my country is currently suffering the consequences of the bad management by the State of the great amount of natural resources at its disposal. As a consequence, the quality of life of Venezuelans has diminished due to the lack of national production and purchasing power on the part of the citizens.

Ese descomunal cambio en nuestra calidad de vida, se fu intensificando cada vez más propiciado por las devaluaciones de la moneda y las malas políticas de gobierno, de tal manera al momento de ir hacer la compra de los alimentos, el dinero no me era suficiente para adquirir la canasta básica y mucho menos gastos personales, sumándole a esto las colas en los establecimientos comerciales y como si de un mal chiste se tratara al momento de pagar se tiene la gran incertidumbre si se paga con tarjeta que es la opción predilecta a menos que el consumidor maneje dólares, si el punto de venta “pasará” como se dice vulgarmente, en otras palabras si la transacción se hará efectiva, ya que son frecuente los fallos con la plataformas de los bancos; formando en mi persona una sensación de impotencia, angustia y nostalgia al recordar tiempos donde predominaba la abundancia, viajes y demás.

No obstante, soy una persona muy optimista, centrada y positiva, es así que decidí explotar unas de mis virtudes y hobbies que es la cocina, y es que desde muy temprana edad desarrolle un fuerte interés por el arte culinario , realizando una variedad de cursos referentes a la repostería y panadería, pero actualmente me enfoco fundamentalmente en la elaboración de platos con ingredientes típicos de mi país, relativamente económicos, que proporcionen beneficios a nuestra salud y claro que sean atractivos para nuestro paladar, esto procurando utilizando principalmente frutas, hortalizas y verduras cosechadas en el huerto de mi hogar. A continuación, les presento una de mis más recientes recetas, haciendo primeramente énfasis sobre la utilidad y provecho que brinda la misma a el ingrediente principal de nuestro plato que en este caso será la yuca (Manihot esculenta).

However, I am a very optimistic, focused and positive person, so I decided to exploit one of my virtues and hobbies which is the kitchen, and it is that from an early age I developed a strong interest in the culinary arts, making a variety of courses related to pastry and bakery, but currently I focus primarily on the development of dishes with typical ingredients of my country, relatively inexpensive, that provide benefits to our health and of course that are attractive to our palate, this trying to use mainly fruits, vegetables and vegetables harvested in the garden of my home. Next, I present one of my most recent recipes, emphasizing first of all the usefulness and benefits of the main ingredient of our dish, which in this case will be the yucca (Manihot esculenta

La yuca es una de las fuentes de carbohidratos principales en nuestra cocina; sin embargo, unos de los problemas que confrontamos en su preparación tiene que ver con la cocción de las raíces cosechadas durante el periodo de lluvia, pues producto del rebrote foliar que se produce en las plantas hace que al cocinarlas estas no se ablanden provocándonos frustración. Para superar este problema y sacarle el mayor provecho a esta importantísima raíz con una suculenta preparación les enseño esta receta.

Cassava is one of the main sources of carbohydrates in our kitchen; however, one of the problems we face in its preparation has to do with the cooking of the roots harvested during the rainy season, as a result of the foliar regrowth that occurs in the plants makes them not soften when cooked, causing frustration. To overcome this problem and get the most out of this very important root with a succulent preparation I show you this recipe...

A la cual llamare crepes o tortillas de yuca:
Ingredientes:
350g de yuca (Manihot esculenta) o también conocida como mandioca, tapioca.
1 huevo.
Azúcar al gusto.
Una pizca de sal.
100g de harina de maíz.
1 vaso de agua.
Procedimiento:
1)Se raya la yuca, preferiblemente por la parte mas fina del rayo.

1. Se agregan los demás ingredientes en un recipiente y se mezclan, a la consistencia de su preferencia.
   3)Posteriormente se caliente el budare o plancha, para agregar la mezcla teniendo como referencia la medida que se ocupa en el cucharon.
   4)Esperamos que las tortillas se tornen de un color dorado por ambos lados, para luego retirarlas, pudiéndose acompañar con productos lácteos, cárnicos, o la combinación de su preferencia, siendo para un desayuno, como complemento del almuerzo o para la merienda o cena.

Which I will call crepes or cassava tortillas:
Ingredients:
350g of cassava (Manihot esculenta) or also known as manioc, tapioca.
1 egg.
Sugar to taste.
A pinch of salt.
100g of corn flour.
1 glass of water.

Procedure:

• Grate the yucca, preferably by the thinnest part of the ray.
• Add the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and mix them to the consistency of your preference.
• Afterwards, heat the budare or griddle to add the mixture, taking as a reference the measure that is used in the spoon.
• We wait for the tortillas to turn golden brown on both sides, and then remove them. They can be served with dairy or meat products, or the combination of your preference, for breakfast, as a complement to lunch or as a snack or dinner.
