LETRAS PARA CONOCERME: MI HISTORIA DE VIDA /LETTERS TO GET TO KNOW ME: MY LIFE STORY [ESP-ENG]

Antes de iniciar con mi presentación, deseo saludar a todas las personas que son y hacen posible esta comunidad digital, me siento contenta de tener la oportunidad de conocer y conocerme a través de los escritos que podamos desarrollar en este espacio. Considero importante este tipo de iniciativas ya que brindan oportunidad de desarrollo individual y social de escritores y lectores en las diferentes áreas vida.

Before starting with my presentation, I want to greet all the people who are and make this digital community possible, I am happy to have the opportunity to meet and get to know me through the writings that we can develop in this space. I consider important this kind of initiatives because they provide opportunities for individual and social development of writers and readers in different areas of life.

¿Quién soy?
Soy Ayarith Celestina Latán Diaz, amorosamente apodada por mi familia como “yiyi”. Nací el 31 de diciembre de 1988, mi día de cumpleaños me trajo sentimientos encontrados por muchos años debido a que la mayoría lo olvidaba por estar pendiente de los arreglos y preparaciones para recibir el año nuevo, a las doce de la noche recibía abrazos y besos ofreciéndome el feliz año y cumpleaños al mismo tiempo, a pesar de eso siempre me sentí feliz porque estaba con mi familia y mi torta no podía faltar. Me siento orgullosa de decirles que mi tierra natal es Venezuela, por casualidades del destino soy sucrense de nacimiento ya que mi madre se encontraba de vacaciones en Cumaná para el momento en que me dio a luz, sin embargo, siempre señalo que mi corazón está en el estado Nueva Esparta, específicamente en la Isla de Margarita, ya que con pocos días de nacida fui traída a mi hermosa isla para encontrarme con mi papá. A mis 33 años de edad todo lo que envuelve mi vida lo encuentro en mi amada isla, por ello, con mucho sentimiento de apego siempre le digo a las personas que soy Margariteña, siempre he tenido por anhelo que me hubiese gustado nacer en ella, sin embargo, agradezco a Dios que me dio la fortuna de todo lo que he vivido y disfrutado de mi isla. Soy la que llaman “hermana del medio”, tengo dos hermanas, una mayor y otra menor, siempre he podido llevarme bien con ellas, en ocasiones discutimos, pero eso no ha sido obstáculo para rápidas reconciliaciones, soy la más pasiva de las tres, me gusta hacer las cosas con calma y tranquilidad, no me gustan las rabias ni rencores, así que los sentimientos negativos suelo superarlos muy rápidamente. Amo a mis padres y hermanas sin embargo en este momento cada uno sigue rumbo, ahora somos adultos y cada uno busca su propio camino, siempre en comunicación, pero enfocados en nuestros proyectos individuales.

Who am I?
I am Ayarith Celestina Celestina Latán Diaz, lovingly nicknamed by my family as "yiyi". I was born on December 31, 1988, my birthday brought me mixed feelings for many years because most people forgot it because they were pending of the arrangements and preparations to receive the new year, at midnight I received hugs and kisses offering me happy new year and birthday at the same time, despite that I always felt happy because I was with my family and my cake could not miss. I am proud to tell you that my homeland is Venezuela, by coincidence of destiny I was born in Sucre since my mother was on vacation in Cumana at the time she gave birth to me, however, I always point out that my heart is in the state of Nueva Esparta, specifically in Margarita Island, since a few days after I was born I was brought to my beautiful island to meet my dad. At my 33 years of age everything that surrounds my life I find it in my beloved island, therefore, with much feeling of attachment I always tell people that I am Margariteña, I have always had the desire that I would have liked to be born there, however, I thank God who gave me the fortune of all that I have lived and enjoyed my island. I am the one they call "middle sister", I have two sisters, one older and one younger, I have always been able to get along well with them, sometimes we argue, but that has not been an obstacle for quick reconciliations, I am the most passive of the three, I like to do things calmly and quietly, I do not like anger or resentment, so I usually overcome negative feelings very quickly. I love my parents and sisters, however at the moment each one is on their own course, now we are adults and each one is looking for their own way, always in communication, but focused on our individual projects.

Mi etapa como estudiante
Cursé preescolar en varias instituciones privadas, es casi nulo lo que puedo recordar de esta primera etapa de mi vida, sin embargo, viendo los reconocimientos y certificado que guardan mis padres, puedo saber que estuve recorriendo varios lugares. Mi educación pública comenzó desde el segundo grado, estudié en una pequeña escuela cercana a la casa de mis padres, en esta institución estuve hasta el sexto grado. Los primeros años de escuela mi papá nos llevaba y nos buscaba en el carro, luego mi hermana mayor era responsable de cuidar de nosotras en la ruta del autobús, finalmente mi hermana menor y yo nos tocó hacer el recorrido solas. Al pasar al liceo, empezaron cambios en mi andar, conocí un nuevo espacio, La Asunción, ciudad colonial y capital del estado Nueva Esparta, aquí estudié por cinco años, tuve muchos compañeros, pero pocos amigos, fui siempre una niña tímida así que sólo me la pasaba con dos o tres niñas que me acompañaban, aun así, siempre me llevé bien con el resto de los compañeros. Recuerdo bien un día en que una niña de otra sección quiso molestarme, pero todos mis compañeros salieron en mi defensa diciendo: ¡ella no se mete con nadie!, así que la niña no tuvo otra opción que irse rápido y no volvió dirigirme palabra de amenaza. Creo que esa fue la mayor discusión que llegué a tener durante durante todo el trajinar de la escolaridad hasta el bachillerato.

My time as a student
I attended preschool in several private institutions, it is almost null what I can remember of this first stage of my life, however, seeing the acknowledgments and certificates that my parents keep, I can know that I was going through several places. My public education began in the second grade, I studied in a small school near my parents' house, in this institution I attended until the sixth grade. The first years of school my father would take us and look for us in the car, then my older sister was responsible for taking care of us on the bus route, finally my younger sister and I had to make the trip alone. When I moved to high school, changes began in my walk, I knew a new place, La Asuncion, colonial city and capital of Nueva Esparta state, here I studied for five years, I had many classmates, but few friends, I was always a shy girl so I only spent time with two or three girls who accompanied me, even so, I always got along well with the rest of the classmates. I remember well one day when a girl from another section wanted to bother me, but all my classmates came to my defense saying: she doesn't mess with anyone, so the girl had no choice but to leave quickly and didn't address a threatening word to me again. I think that was the biggest argument I got to have during all my schooling up to high school.

En la universidad se dividieron mis caminos, tuve la bonita experiencia de poder trabajar y estudiar al mismo tiempo, pienso que eso te ayuda a crecer y madurar más rápido, gracias a la orientación de mis padres inicié en el programa de aprendices INCE, en este sólo invertía una parte de mi tiempo mientras me enseñan un oficio a cambio de una remuneración económica, simultáneamente inicié a estudiar de lunes a viernes en la Universidad de Oriente (UDO) y los sábados en la Universidad Nacional Experimental Simón Rodríguez (UNESR), ambas complementarias en mi formación como docente, pues, en una aprendí todo los correspondiente a las formalidades académicas, mientras la otra me permitió conocer lo correspondiente a lo comunitario. Pienso que mi etapa como universitaria fue la que más me gustó y me llenó, aquí dejé de ser niña y poco a poco fui iniciándome en mi vida adulta. Luego decidí continuar mis estudios de post-grado, así que me inscribí en la Maestría en Historia Regional de Venezuela que ofrecía la Universidad de Margarita (UNIMAR), en esta etapa empecé a comprender que era mucho lo que me faltaba por aprender, en este nivel dedico mi trabajo de grado a las historias de mi localidad. Actualmente estoy estudiando en la Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador (UPEL) el Doctorado en Educación, culminé las materias académicas y me encuentro trabajando en la tesis, esta última experiencia no ha sido fácil, ha representado muchos sentimientos encontrados y desafíos hacia mi persona, sin embargo, continúo trabajando, le pido a Dios me permita centrarme y trazar el camino correcto para culminar esta meta.

In college my paths were divided, I had the nice experience of being able to work and study at the same time, I think that helps you grow and mature faster, thanks to the guidance of my parents I started in the INCE apprentice program, in this I only invested part of my time while they teach me a trade in exchange for financial remuneration, Simultaneously, I began to study from Monday to Friday at the Universidad de Oriente (UDO) and on Saturdays at the Universidad Nacional Experimental Simón Rodríguez (UNESR), both complementary in my training as a teacher, since, in one I learned everything corresponding to academic formalities, while the other allowed me to know what corresponds to the community. I think that my time as a university student was the one that I liked and fulfilled me the most, here I stopped being a child and little by little I began to initiate myself in my adult life. Then I decided to continue my post-graduate studies, so I enrolled in the Masters in Regional History of Venezuela offered by the University of Margarita (UNIMAR), at this stage I began to understand that there was much I had yet to learn, at this level I dedicate my degree work to the stories of my town. Currently I am studying at the Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador (UPEL) the Doctorate in Education, I finished the academic subjects and I am working on the thesis, this last experience has not been easy, it has represented many mixed feelings and challenges to me, however, I continue working, I ask God to allow me to focus and trace the right path to complete this goal.

¿A qué me dedico?
Mi principal oficio es ser estudiante, este ha constituido un proceso ininterrumpido en toda mi experiencia de vida, me ha servido para profesionalizarme y desarrollarme en la práctica de mi trabajo como docente, mi experiencia laboral se ha centrado en la enseñanza de materias referidas a la historia, geografía, familia, sociedad y arte. He trabajado con diferentes grupos de edades, niños, adolescentes y adultos, no puedo decir que me guste más trabajar con una u otra edad, más bien diría que, dependiendo de la materia que dicte preferiría que el grupo tenga una edad determinada. Me apasiona practicar y enseñar el área artística, me desenvuelvo en el montaje de bailes culturales, sin embargo, tengo mayor fortaleza en el ámbito teatral. El arte me ha permitido superar la timidez que envolvía mi niñez, en la universidad inicié en un grupo llamado “Pequeño Teatro Andante” allí comencé mi camino en las tablas, luego de graduarme me incorporé a la “Fundación Teatro Santa Lucia”, allí continúo desempeñando mi práctica teatral; el teatro me ha permitido conocer y compartir con muchas personas que admiro y considero valiosas como personas y como promotoras culturales. Me gusta y me siento bien participando en actividades que involucran poner el cuerpo en movimiento, por temporadas permito que la flojera me envuelva y suspendo su práctica, pero luego me dispongo he inicio nuevamente mis rutinas. En mi labor como docente hago lo posible por incorporar mis diferentes experiencias para poder ofrecer valores y enseñanzas en las que verdaderamente creo, aún así, intento no imponer mi punto de vista, pienso que cada persona tiene su propio ser, por ende, los ideales de mis estudiantes pueden ser diferentes siempre que los sepan defender y argumentar.

What do I do?
My main occupation is being a student, this has been an uninterrupted process throughout my life experience, it has helped me to professionalize and develop myself in the practice of my work as a teacher, my work experience has focused on teaching subjects related to history, geography, family, society and art. I have worked with different age groups, children, teenagers and adults, I can not say that I like working with one age group or another, rather I would say that, depending on the subject I teach, I would prefer that the group has a certain age. I am passionate about practicing and teaching in the artistic area, I work in the assembly of cultural dances, however, I have greater strength in the theatrical field. Art has allowed me to overcome the shyness that enveloped my childhood, in college I started in a group called "Pequeño Teatro Andante" there I began my way on the boards, after graduating I joined the "Fundación Teatro Santa Lucia", there I continue to perform my theatrical practice; the theater has allowed me to meet and share with many people I admire and consider valuable as people and as cultural promoters. I like and feel good participating in activities that involve putting the body in movement, for seasons I allow laziness to surround me and suspend its practice, but then I get ready and start my routines again. In my work as a teacher I do my best to incorporate my different experiences in order to offer values and teachings that I truly believe in, even so, I try not to impose my point of view, I think that each person has their own being, therefore, the ideals of my students can be different as long as they know how to defend and argue them.

Mi pequeña familia
Escribir de mi familia implica referir a muchas personas, en esta ocasión deseo escribir especialmente de aquellos con los que hoy convivo diariamente, mi pareja, mi bebé y mi perro. Mi grupo familiar es pequeño, pero tiene un enorme valor para mí, iniciaré mencionando a mi compañero, mi pareja, mi conyugue; nuestra relación ha tenido muchos altibajos, pienso que la vida en pareja fue lo que me permitió terminar de madurar, a pesar de mis estudios y de estar en la universidad siempre fui muy infantil, me considero una persona adulta y eso lo he construido a partir de mis ocho años de relación amorosa, el año pasado decidimos ampliar nuestra familia, por ello emprendimos la búsqueda de nuestro bebé y adoptamos un pequeño perrito. En cuanto a mi bebé, qué les puedo contar, me siento bendecida de tenerlo, todos los días desde su nacimiento me roba una sonrisa, apenas tiene ocho meses de vida y mi corazón late fuerte cada vez que lo veo. No puedo ignorar escribir de mi perrito, llegó a nuestras vidas unos meses ante de mi embarazo y desde entonces nos acompaña, es un poco desobediente, pero me encanta tenerlo porque nos brinda alegrías a todos, en especial a mi bebé, el cual se ríe con gran fuerza de solo verlo.

My little family
Writing about my family implies referring to many people, this time I want to write especially about those with whom I live daily, my partner, my baby and my dog. My family group is small, but it has an enormous value for me, I will begin by mentioning my partner, my partner, my spouse; our relationship has had many ups and downs, I think that life as a couple was what allowed me to finish maturing, despite my studies and being in college I was always very childish, I consider myself an adult person and that I have built from my eight years of loving relationship, last year we decided to expand our family, so we undertook the search for our baby and adopted a small puppy. As for my baby, what can I tell you, I feel blessed to have him, every day since his birth he steals a smile from me, he is only eight months old and my heart beats strong every time I see him. I cannot ignore writing about my dog, he came into our lives a few months before my pregnancy and since then he has been with us, he is a little disobedient, but I love having him because he brings joy to all of us, especially to my baby, who laughs loudly at the sight of him.

¿De qué me gustaría escribir?
En primera instancia quisiera escribir de mi nueva experiencia, ser mamá, esta etapa ha constituido cambios y sentimientos inigualables en mi persona, por este motivo me encantaría contar un poco lo que ha sido mi vida durante este periodo. También me interesa escribir de otros tópicos fundamentales como desarrollo personal, la vida en pareja y la familia. No puedo excluir algunos escritos sobre educación, historia, arte, cuidado del cuerpo y el alma. Todos estos temas forman parte de mi ser, por lo que escribir sobre ellos es una manera de reflexionar sobre la base de mis propias experiencias de vida, tal vez en una u otra ocasión pueda escribir sobre alguna u otra tipo de temática, sin embargo, por ahora me gustaría iniciar concentrándome en aquello que motiva mi ser.

What would I like to write about?
First of all I would like to write about my new experience, being a mom, this stage has constituted unequaled changes and feelings in my person, for this reason I would love to tell a little of what has been my life during this period. I am also interested in writing about other fundamental topics such as personal development, life as a couple and family. I cannot exclude some writings about education, history, art, body and soul care. All these topics are part of my being, so writing about them is a way of reflecting on the basis of my own life experiences, maybe in one or another occasion I can write about one or another type of subject, however, for now I would like to start by concentrating on what motivates my being.

¿Por qué Hive?
Debo confesar que desde hace un tiempo me encontraba buscando un proyecto que me permitiera ganar dinero a través de las redes sociales, he visto anuncios ofertando diferentes tipos de empleo, pero la mayoría me creo desconfianza mientras que con otros no me identificaba. Es poco lo que conozco de Hive, pero el testimonio de una amiga aunado a la información que he buscado, ha despertado en mí la motivación por querer ser miembro de esta comunidad digital. En definitiva, lo que más me ha gustado de Hive es que puedo escribir sobre lo que soy y lo que me gusta, que puedo leer e interactuar con otras personas, qué es una oportunidad de generar ingresos, que seré mi propia jefa y que puedo decidir el tiempo a dedicar, esto último es muy importante para mí porque mi bebé está muy pequeño y no me gustaría dejarlo solo por largos periodos.

Why Hive?
I must confess that some time ago I was looking for a project that would allow me to earn money through social networks, I have seen ads offering different types of jobs, but most of them made me distrustful while with others I did not identify myself. I know little about Hive, but the testimony of a friend, together with the information I have sought, has awakened in me the motivation to want to be a member of this digital community. In short, what I liked most about Hive is that I can write about what I am and what I like, that I can read and interact with other people, that it is an opportunity to generate income, that I will be my own boss and that I can decide how much time to dedicate, the latter is very important to me because my baby is very young and I would not like to leave him alone for long periods.

Me siento muy agradecida con @bluemist por su programa de adopción, gracias a este, personas como yo, sin recursos económicos, tenemos la oportunidad de incorporarnos en esta comunidad digital Quiero agradecer a los chicos de @rutablockchain por sus informaciones y orientaciones sobre Hive, por su tiempo, pienso que la tarea que desempeñan no es algo sencillo, gracias por su dedicación.
