Fuel your body with Flavour

I wanted to share with you my recent obsession with Arugula or also known as rockets, and why it's such a powerhouse when it comes to keeping our bodies healthy and happy.

Arugula is known for its high level of antioxidants, which protect and even reverse cell damage. Did you know it also has glucosinolates? Glucosinolates is beneficial to regulate functions in inflammation, stress response, phase I metabolism, and antioxidant activities, as well as direct antimicrobial properties. These natural substances give Arugula its bitter taste and strong scent and may help protect us against certain cancers like breast, prostate, lung, and colon cancers.

For lunch today, I decided to switch things up and make a delicious and healthy omelette with garlic, onions, mushrooms, and a dash of cheese. And to pair with my omelette, I had a green salad filled with plenty of Arugula and a side of kimchi for an extra burst of flavor.

And let me tell you, I feel great after this meal! I'm so glad to be doing something good for my body by feeding it with all the goodness that Arugula has to offer, instead of eating my usual greasy fried noodles.

So if you're looking for a way to add some extra nutrients and antioxidants to your diet, I highly recommend giving Arugula a try. Trust me, you won't regret it!

What do you guys think? Have you tried incorporating Arugula into your diet?
