League of Movies (HIVE WRITING CONTEST): Official Announcement.

Everyone who follows my blog, knows how much I like Cinema. I write about it very often because - by far - this is one of my favorite subjects. So, now that we all have a new home (Hive), I'm launching this new contest for all those who also like Cinema or who just like watching movies and want to share their thoughts by writing reviews.

I had tried to do something similar before, but the idea didn't go ahead (despite a few successful weeks). However, I can really see Hive as my new opportunity to try to establish this idea on an ongoing basis. Right now, I have to say that I'm very positive about this contest.

Quick notes about the contest (more specific details in the next post):

  • It will work like a league, where each participant will have to accumulate points to win the prizes (which will be a monthly reward).

  • Specific themes will be proposed for the participants, who, in order to have their reviews qualified for the contest, will have to follow - strictly - all the rules.

  • Only ENGLISH, SPANISH and PORTUGUESE entries will be accepted for a better understanding at the time of judgment.

  • The rounds will be weekly and there will be three prizes (1st, 2nd and 3rd place).

  • The prizes will be in Hive (maybe in Hive Dollars also), but the amount has not yet been decided.

At the moment, I am working alone on this project, but I'm sure that a few more good people will support me on this journey. This will make all the difference because it will strengthen the project and make it grow, always with quality to become more relevant to the entire community.

Many people write about movies and think that their content is not valued (what I particularly understand completely) and I think this initiative is a great way to do that, in addition to bringing more fun and engagement to this place, beyond movie recommendations - which can be good or bad - for everyone.

That's it, folks! Stay tuned because the first stage League of Movies (Edition #01) will be published very soon (in a few days), and I hope I can count on the participation of all those who are interested (either writing their reviews or helping the project achieve more visibility).

Any questions?

The idea behind this is superb. I'd love to write on movies that have premiered before now

Thanks, @timmyeu.

If you can give a resteem in the post to help spread the idea it would be very useful. Plus, I count on your participation very soon.

With the extra free time I have these days I may just follow along these contests as I have more time for movies.

I hope I can read your review as soon as possible, @dlstudios.

Boa iniciativa.

GREAT POST!!

We have cross posted it for you!

Hello, @wiseagent. I think it's very good initiative. I have a few questions, but I'd rather wait for your next post with the specified rules. I'll look forward to it!

Hi, @josemalavem. Thanks for the compliment.

You can already check all the rules in the post of the first challenge (which is already launched).

Okay. I'll look for it. Thank you.
