In this blog, I will be sharing how New Year’s Eve went on December 31. This date really forced us to work without our phones as we went to the market for ingredients, shopped for some designs, and prepared everything needed for the New Year. We were so busy that we completely forgot our tradition of singing Auld Lang Syne when the clock struck twelve. Instead, we slept right after because it had been a long day. My parents were delivering orders the whole day for New Year, while we prepared our home for visitors. Still, we enjoyed everything and loved how the day turned out.

We prepared simple food, as we are not fond of making more than what we can consume, unless there are many visitors coming to the house. This New Year, only my best friend was our guest, since most people prefer celebrating the New Year in their own homes. My best friend lives away from her family, and my family loves having her around, so we invited her to celebrate with us.

We had a DIY charcuterie board. It was unplanned because I completely forgot about it due to being busy. When my sister reminded me at the last minute, we immediately went to the grocery store to buy sweets. Some of the items I can remember were marshmallows, brownies, Pocky, waffles, chips, and specific biscuits that were only available since stocks were already running out that day. We also bought balloons and a backdrop curtain for our simple setup. It was spontaneous but successful enough before the time came and the fireworks exploded outside our area.

This was us during the eve, wearing red as a family. It was basically our first time celebrating complete, as we used to celebrate in different houses since my parents are divorced. This time, we were complete and happy to find ourselves welcoming another fresh year together. Red was not the color of the year, but my family preferred it over the actual color, so we wore it lovingly.

Everyone was happy and full of love during these moments. Flashbacks and emotional recollections happened at the table as we ate. My nieces were very happy to celebrate the New Year complete and without loud fireworks. Our dog was also comfortable, as the fireworks at midnight were not aggressive. I did not have photos of the fireworks, but people from our area, as well as others from Bayanihan Village, came out and formed a crowd in one open ground to witness them together. After that, we slept deeply with enthusiasm and satisfaction.

I do not really have much to tell about the New Year, but I have many things to keep to myself. I have formulated several resolutions that I am confident I can work on this year, along with goals for the whole year. It is better for me to be specific with my goals so I can have a clear path, but I also remind myself that when things do not go in my favor, I should explain it to myself gently and accept things as they are. What is meant for me will always find its way to me. It is not rejection or failure, but redirection and experience.

Speaking of this year’s goals, I tried the 2026 Hive Card to set a clearer direction for the year. It has been seven months since I joined Hive, and the journey has been filled with mistakes, guidance, and lessons. I am grateful for the people who became part of my beginning journey in the onboarding program, and I will forever treasure them. I honestly admit that I am still learning about Hive and remain open to more exploration and knowledge. What is written on my card is not fixed, just a plan, because I believe things will turn out even better than what I have planned.
I am not an expert in crypto values and I am still learning, so my guess is around $1, but I hope it will increase more this year as it deserves to grow. My goal is to reach 10,000 HP this year, and I hope I can achieve even more. Soon, I will be reaching 2,000 HP once the payout comes, and I am excited to share that milestone. From there, 3,000 HP will be the next goal and beyond. This year, I will focus more on being a quality content creator. Opportunities may not be present yet, but whenever chances come, or whenever I see signs worth following, I will take them. I want to grow with ethics and consistency. I have already invited at least eight users to Hive and hope to increase that number, not for records, but out of genuine love for Hive as a platform that deserves to be discovered by responsible users. Lastly, Italy Hive Fest remains a dream. It would truly be a dream come true if given the chance and financial stability. We will get there soon.
As I move forward into this year, I carry both excitement and patience within me. I am learning to trust the process, honor my growth, and allow things to unfold in their own time. This year is not about rushing achievements but about building them with intention, gratitude, and self-respect. Whatever 2026 brings, I am ready to meet it with an open heart and a hopeful mind.
