Ever since discovering this place, we’ve become regulars as we simply adore the service and skills the staff at Hachi Sydney has. What is Hachi Sydney?
Hachi is a pet grooming salon and boutique store located in Darling Square in Sydney’s CBD. They also have a branch in Melbourne. Hachi is a Japanese grooming salon so they know how to make your furbabies look cute and attractive compared to many other groomers who don’t do a great job with their styling (in our opinion anyway).
Hachi’s window display is enough to draw pet owners into the store to have a browse at their wide range of products. They have collars, leashes, bags, clothing, snacks and many more travel and pet accessories and necessities for sale from different brands.
We absolutely adore the store and the way they pay attention to our furbaby and he seems to enjoy being pampered by them as well. We have returned a couple of times due to this. You will also notice this post has a few photos taken from different visits.
I love visiting the store and spending a great amount of time looking at the dog accessories and treats as everything looks so good and I wish that I could buy everything for our furbaby!
Hachi also has a photo studio for your pets and they have different themes depending on the occasion/celebration. They also have a cafe area for your furbabies where they can enjoy some treats and drink if you wish to spoil them.
We often leave our dog, Taro, at the store a little earlier than the appointment time and pick him up a little later so that he can play with the other dogs who are there for a groom. The staff at the store don’t mind at all and sometimes let the dogs roam around the store front as long as they’re well behaved.
Taro’s grooming can take around 2 hours which is perfect and enough time to grab a bite and have a little walk around the city. After having all the attention on him during the grooming and being satisfied with play time, Taro is ready to leave without any complaints. The staff at Hachi always tell us how well behaved Taro was as well which is great.
During Taro’s birthday, a friend gifted him a gift voucher to Hachi. We saved the voucher for the next groom instead of buying accessories from the store as he has plenty already. Due to this, we recently visited Hachi again for one last short teddy bear style cut for Taro before winter comes as his fur was getting too long and it was too warm for him with the recent hot weather. Throughout winter we will be giving him a tidy trim only so he won’t feel too cold.
As usual, we are satisfied with his cut and he was happy and well pampered. Always thankful to the staff at Hachi Sydney for meeting our expectations all the time!
