Hello everyone đ
Itâs been another heck of a year with us not being able to travel. Weâve been stuck not only in Australia but what feels like being confined to only our home as weâve also been working from home.
As we couldnât travel, weâve relied a lot on online shopping. Since having a baby, we werenât able to buy the really cute things that are available overseas. Donât get me wrong, Australia has a lot of great designers and items to offer to kids but our taste lies in things from Asia.
We came across a website called The Wee Bean while looking for clothing with different prints for our little one. The Wee Bean is a store from Hong Kong that sells clothing, toys, bedding and more for babies. Theyâre a small business started by a couple who have children of their own and they have a passion to provide other children with quality, organic goods that wonât hurt them (such as skin) and the environment.
I went ahead to buy a few items to try. Months later, hubby came across the website and decided to also buy a few things too. Being foodies, we had to get some food related stuff for the little one. Letâs see what weâve bought for our little one.
Egg tart and lemon tea are like one of the signature food items from Hong Kong. The other one is the white rabbit candy which is a childhood memory of ours. These are the milky candies our parents would give us.
Those who know us would know that we are boba obsessed and would call it a drought and possibly feel some sort of withdrawal symptom if we werenât able to have one during the week đ.
Hubbyâs favourite snack when we visit Hong Kong is eggette so I got this to remind him of his beloved snack. Makes him hungry too. I also bought a boba bib however itâs in the wash so I couldnât take a picture of it.
Theyâve got so many more designs and recently came out with their Japan series too. Iâm tempted to buy more as theyâre currently on sale. The bibs are quite thick, absorbent and the quality is great. The clothes havenât been worn yet as our weather hasnât allowed for short sleeves at the moment. We canât wait to try them though!

Price wise, itâs more expensive if we were to compare to buying a piece of clothing like this at a local store. I guess we are paying for the cute designs which canât be found in our country, right? These also come as great gifts if youâre looking for something different from the typical animal, vehicle, rainbow etc type of design.
That's so cute, love the local HK food on them. Just wondering, where are the products made?
BTW, now you got a little one, have you thought about posting in the Motherhood community https://peakd.com/c/hive-165757/trail? They're supported by OCD and actively curate good content to support
Thank you LUT! I didnât know there was a motherhood community here.
Good question there.. not sure where these are made as they donât come with tags to avoid rubbing on babyâs delicate skin. Iâll see if I can find out on their website :)
