Hace algunas semanas me hicieron la propuesta de pertenecer a los catequistas y enseñar a los niños, no me causó tanta impresión porque lo que hago actualmente es formar a los chamos y algunos niños, luego de haberlo pensado por varios días, decidí aceptar y eso implicaba que debía ir a un viaje de una convivencia para los catequistas, lo cual fue un reto porque debía viajar con mi perrito, sin embargo me dispuse, hacerle la maleta a él y la mía y a ver como me las arreglaba durante toda la convivencia.
A few weeks ago they made me the proposal to belong to the catechists and teach the children, it did not make such an impression on me because what I currently do is train the kids and some children, after having thought about it for several days, I decided to accept and that implied that I had to go on a trip to a conviviality for the catechists, which was a challenge because I had to travel with my dog, however I decided to pack him and mine and see how I managed throughout the conviviality.
El viaje de ida y de regreso fue terrible porque nos íbamos en dos camionetas y en cada camioneta, estaban las maletas atrás junto con varias personas, íbamos como sardinas en lata, al llegar allá nos dieron un cuarto en pareja, por supuesto yo debía estar con alguien que aceptara a mi perrito así que me dejaron a una compañera con la que fui, no dejé en ningún momento solo a mi perrito, solo cuando nos tocaba comer que debía dejarlo en su kennel pero gracias a Dios él se quedó tranquilo y durante toda la convivencia no se sintió ni lloró.
The trip there and back was terrible because we left in two vans and in each van, the suitcases were in the back along with several people, we were like sardines in a can, when we got there they gave us a room as a couple, of course I had to be with someone who would accept my puppy, so they left me a colleague with whom I went, I never left my puppy alone, only when we had to eat that I had to leave him in his kennel but thank God he stayed calm and during the entire coexistence did not feel or cry.
Los temas fueron maravillosos, la comida, riquísima, inclusive el lugar también estaba increíble, muy hermoso, fue en una casa de retiro en Barinitas - Venezuela, cada tema fue único e inspirador para todos, la idea de la convivencia principalmente era actualizar a los catequistas ya que como en todo las cosas van evolucionando y van mejorando, del mismo modo los catequistas deben constantemente actualizar sus métodos para que a los niños y los chicos un poco más grandes les llegue con más facilidad y más entendimiento la palabra de Dios o las cosas que enseña la iglesia, se bene actualizar los métodos y basarlas a las necesidades actuales porque constantemente cambian.
The themes were wonderful, the food, delicious, even the place was also incredible, very beautiful, it was in a retirement home in Barinitas - Venezuela, each theme was unique and inspiring for everyone, the idea of the coexistence was mainly to update the catechists since, as in everything things are evolving and improving, in the same way catechists must constantly update their methods so that the children and the slightly older boys come with more ease and more understanding of the word of God or the things that the church teaches, it is good to update the methods and base them on current needs because they are constantly changing.
Para mi ser un catequista y según todo lo que vi en la convivencia, es enseñarle a los niños y adolescentes de una manera muy pedagógica y metodológica la palabra de Dios y es que la palabra catequista significa enseñar y no es enseñar solo la palabra es enseñarles valores, amor a Dios a la iglesia y al prójimo, se trata de elaborar un tema como muchísima dedicación y planificación que haga que los chamos puedan captar eso que queremos que ellos aprendan del tema y es que el catequista tiene una importante misión, es la hacer que esos chamos, niños y adolescentes, migren una vez terminado el sacramento de la comunión y confirmación, hacia algún movimiento de apostolado que tiene la iglesia o la parroquia, enseñar no es tarea fácil es algo que requiere de mucha preparación, dedicación y planificación.
For me, being a catechist and according to everything I saw in the coexistence, is to teach children and adolescents in a very pedagogical and methodological way the word of God and that is that the word catechist means to teach and it is not to teach only the word is to teach them values, love of God, the church and the neighbor, it is about elaborating a topic with a lot of dedication and planning that makes the kids understand what we want them to learn from the topic and that is that the catechist has an important mission, it is the to make these kids, children and adolescents, migrate once the sacrament of communion and confirmation is over, to some apostolic movement that the church or parish has, teaching is not an easy task, it is something that requires a lot of preparation, dedication and planning.
