¿Comó están el día de hoy? Yo muy bien, muy feliz de contarles que hace poco logré ir a una tienda que es muy famosa y conocida aquí en Venezuela. Obviamente, hablo de mango bajito, una tienda donde consigues de todo a precios muy bajos. Sin más, quiero mostrarles cómo me fue y contarles cuál fue mi primera impresión, logrando ir por primera vez.

How are you today? I am very well, very happy to tell you that I recently managed to go to a store that is very famous and well known here in Venezuela. Obviously, I'm talking about mango bajito, a store where you get everything at very low prices. Without further ado, I want to show you how it went and tell you what my first impression was, going there for the first time.

Mango bajito

Para darles un poco de contexto, mango bajito es una tienda departamental (hasta donde yo sé en Venezuela) que venden absolutamente de todo menos ropa y electrodomésticos. Saliendo de eso, venden absolutamente todo lo que te puedas imaginar de plástico, de cerámica y de cualquier material para la casa, para tu carro y para miles de cosas más.

To give you some context, mango bajito is a department store (as far as I know in Venezuela) that sells absolutely everything except clothes and appliances. Beyond that, they sell absolutely everything you can imagine made of plastic, ceramics and any other material for the house, for your car and for thousands of other things.

En mi estado hace muy poco más o menos en diciembre abrió la nueva tienda de mango bajito que ha sido una de las más grandes que se ha hecho a nivel nacional. Esta tienda cuenta con 3 pisos donde en cada uno tiene cosas totalmente diferentes. Por ejemplo, el primer piso de esta tienda tiene muchas cosas para la cocina, tu carro, tu vajilla y miles de cosas más por el estilo. Ya el segundo piso tiene más que nada de juguetes, cosas para niños, algunas cosas de jardinería, entre otras. Y por último, el tercer piso tiene cosas como sábanas, almohadas, cosas para el baño, entre otros. Cuando digo que esta tienda es muy grande, es porque así lo es lo que sea que tú busques, estoy segura de que lo vas a encontrar aquí

In my state, a little while ago in December, the new mango bajito store opened, which has been one of the largest that has been built nationwide. This store has 3 floors where each one has totally different things. For example, the second floor of this store has a lot of things for the kitchen, your car, your dishes and thousands of other things like that. The second floor has mostly toys, things for children, some gardening stuff, among others. And finally, the third floor has things like sheets, pillows, things for the bathroom, among others. When I say that this store is very big, it's because whatever you are looking for, I'm sure you will find it here.

En esta ocasión yo fui con mi madre, ya que ambas teníamos muchas ganas de ir para conocerlo. Algo que debo mencionar es que al ser tan grande y tener desde el primer piso una especie de piso falso, este temblaba mucho, lo cual le pregunté a una amiga que estudia arquitectura y me dijo que es bastante normal. Cada piso tiene paredes muy altas, por lo que los productos siempre llegan hasta muy arriba y es necesario traer una escalera para lograr bajarlos todos. Según mi mamá y yo, en esta ocasión no vamos a comprar nada, pero de tantas cosas que había terminamos llevándonos aproximadamente 20 dólares

On this occasion I went with my mother, since we both really wanted to go to see it. Something I should mention is that being so big and having from the second floor a kind of false floor, it was very shaky, which I asked a friend who studies architecture and she told me that it is quite normal. Each floor has very high walls, so the products always reach very high and it is necessary to bring a ladder to get them all down. According to my mom and I, on this occasion we were not going to buy anything, but we ended up taking about 20 dollars worth of stuff with us.

En mi estado no había inaugurado nunca ningún mango bajito, por ende este. La verdad es que vivía bastante lleno desde diciembre y esta vez que fuimos no fue la excepción. Hablando de precios, me sorprende que en algunos productos tengan tan buenos precios, Tanto así que si vas con 10 dólares, puedes salir con muchas cosas: es que ahí sabes administrar tu dinero.

In my state I had never inaugurated any short mango, hence this one. The truth is that it had been quite full since December and this time we went there was no exception. Speaking of prices, I am surprised that in some products they have such good prices, so much so that if you go with 10 dollars, you can leave with many things: it is that there you know how to manage your money.

Traté de calcular más o menos cuánto nos tomó ver todos los pisos y fueron más o menos 3 horas, lo cual fue extraño, ya que pensábamos que tardaríamos como mucho una hora y media. Sin duda, mi sección favorita fue la de los juguetes, ya que para mi sorpresa tenían juguetes de muy buena calidad que, la verdad, están en un precio razonable para lo que eran. Como aquí conseguías de todo, yo logré encontrar en la sección de juguetes algunos juguetes para mi perrito, lo cual fue excelente.

I tried to calculate more or less how long it took us to see all the floors and it was more or less 3 hours, which was strange, since we thought it would take us at most an hour and a half. Without a doubt, my favorite section was the toy section, as to my surprise they had very good quality toys that, truth be told, are reasonably priced for what they were. Since you could get everything here, I managed to find some toys for my puppy in the toy section, which was excellent.

Luego de revisar todos los pisos y agarrar algunas cosas, terminamos yendo a la caja y me di cuenta de que aquí tenían un sistema un poco peculiar. Este no era el típico lugar donde pagas 100 bolsas, sino que tenías que pagar y hacer una cola larguísima para lograr embolsar tus productos y que te revisaran tu factura para asegurarse de que habías pagado todo. Luego de todo este proceso que nos tomó aproximadamente 20 minutos, logramos salir.

After going through all the floors and grabbing a few things, we ended up going to the checkout and I realized that they had a bit of a peculiar system here. This was not the typical place where you pay for 100 bags, but you had to pay and stand in a very long line to get your products bagged and have them check your bill to make sure you had paid for everything. After this whole process, which took us about 20 minutes, we were able to leave.

Sinceramente, yo amé esta tienda, ya que estaba mentalizada a comprar algunas cositas que me hacían falta en el cuarto y lo logré conseguir. De verdad que se consigue de todo. Sin duda, pienso volver a ir muy pronto

Honestly, I loved this store, since I was determined to buy some things that I needed in my room and I managed to get it. You can really get everything. Without a doubt, I plan to go there again very soon.
