Family legacy: Teach a child to stand for what is right and acceptable to humanity, as this is the only true legacy you can give a child.

Legacy can be defined as the wealth in terms of money, companies, business or property left to someone in a WILL. OR the values, carrer, job or beliefs left behind for someone by his/her parent(s) Or ground parent(s).
Most times people living on this things may be living the life and dreams of their parent(s). Even if such person succeed and blossom, it may not be what he/she wish to become. But because they find their parent(s) doing such things.
The only true legacy is the values that we give a child and the moral to stand for what is right and acceptable to humanity, and of which they have gotten genuine conviction to do

It is not a crime for you to be doing what your parents left behind for you, but it is crime when you are only doing it to please them or their memory or to live in the glory that they (parents) have built.

Some people called themselves christian because their parent(s) were christian or gave birth to them as christian, some are muslim because their parents were muslim. When they themselves have not gotten any genuine encounter with that which they claimed to belief.

Do not pick up a carrer, business or live style because you are been called to uphold your family legacy. When legacies represent good value people encourage you to continue with it, however, when it represent evil value, you are expected to put an end to it. But to be frawn with you, there is nothing like bad or good legacy, it is simply legacy.

Everyone have his/her legacy to write and in actual sense, you as a person is the actual legacy of your parents and not the mansion or companies they left behind.

It is always good to stand to represent what is right and acceptable to humanity. Do not live in a legacy that you do not have conviction for as a person, live your life in the way that best please and best represent you as a person and not the one that best represents your parents.
A mother once said to her two young kids in a movie titled the reacher...

"you don't need to solve all the world's problem, solving some is enough" and to another "though you the strength of three boys of your age, always do what is right"

these she said to the elder and the younger sons respectively.

Give your child the possible path that best represents the values Which is acceptable to humanity to follow while they are still young. And guide them to have genuine conviction for it, else they will be living your life for you while you are gone but will never be fulfill....
