Journey of self discovery to ignite the best version of yourself ( A reflection from life )

How about taking a closure look and audit your constant thoughts! This will help you to understand the current state of your mental health. Thoughts can be positive or negative; I promise no one will judge but, please be noted our thoughts have the most impact on our mind and well-being.

When life goes hard, how about taking a step backward and just staying calm and analyze the situation. During my undergrad life, I passed through the worst time of my life; I was failing in almost every aspect of my life, starting with friendship, love, studies, and my bond with my family; everything was falling apart. I had two options that time; the first one, to do absolutely nothing, and the second one is fixing those. Then came the eureka moment when I started living my life as a single day, one day at a time, and by the side, all I was doing is constantly auditing my thoughts, and I tried refraining from negative thoughts, thought that belittle me.

A famous quote that I swear by, Bruce Lee said, "Don't speak negatively about yourself, even as a joke. Your body doesn't know the difference. Words are energy and cast spells. That's why it is called spelling. Change the way you speak about yourself, and you can change your life. What you are not changing, you are choosing''.

So how to keep fighting with the inner devil?

A meditation, practice of our particular religion, healthy diet and proper sleep, and a positive mindset for a day will help us. Eventually, I have realized that our modern lifestyle is refraining us from our religious practice. The moment I understood this mindset, I started practicing my religion as a baby step. If you think I might be suggesting you be a religious guru, no, I am not. All I mean is trusting our creator and conveying your anxiety, your desire with a pure heart. It gives us relief that we can rely on someone; that fulfillment is precious.

Life is not easy, and we need to work hard to achieve our goals and well-being. For a healthy mind, we also need to work hard. Building self is a tremendously challenging process. We can't achieve it quickly, but if we work hard, the locus of control is in us, and we can reach any endeavor.

To achieve something, we should not idealize the outcome it brings. Instead, we should enjoy the process. If we focus just on the outcome and then we will be in the rat race, I would rather call it beggars life, and let me tell you that beggars can't be choosers. What is the meaning of life if we don't enjoy the process? So please start doing what makes you happy. Maybe your happiness doesn't bring your bread and butter, but that doesn't mean you will leave everything and be a part of the rat race. Each day consists of twenty-four hours, so from it steal few hours if not possible few minutes for own-self and rejuvenate your true self.
