In tribute to all the women of Hive but especially to @truelovemom, a wonderful mom.
Wonder women surpass fiction. They may not have the physical strength of ten elephants or a "whip of truth" but what is certain is that they have the courage to face adversity. Calm down guys, you turn will come 😂 but today's idea came up while visiting @truelovemom's blog, and I who have the happiness to meet her in person could say that everything positive you can find in a woman she has.
Las mujeres maravilla superan la ficción. Quizás no tengan la fuerza física de diez elefantes o un “latigo de la verdad” pero lo que si es cierto es que les sobra coraje para afrontar la adversidad. Tranquilos chicos, ya vendrá su turno 😂 pero la idea de hoy surgió mientras visitaba el blog de truelovemom, y yo que tengo la dicha de conocerla en persona pudo decir que todo lo positivo que puedes encontrar en una mujer ella lo tiene.
Mother of 3 children who helped her grow with tireless work, with a steel mind, she is not stopped by anyone or anything. I haven't seen her give up on anything. She keeps her body and mind healthy, strong, and no matter how much sweat it costs her, sometimes she seems to never tire. She has incredible patience and if she didn't have it then she produced it with me hahaha. Easy saying: An example of a woman. But only the one who has really known her can understand what I'm talking about. However, I think we all have a mom (or a woman who has taken care of us in some way) so I hope this is very familiar to you.
Madre de 3 hijos que ayudó a crecer con trabajo incansable, con mente de acero, no la detiene nada ni nadie. No la he visto rendirse ante nada. Mantiene su cuerpo como su mente sanos, fuertes y sin importar cuanto sudor le cueste a ella, aveces parece que no se cansa. Tiene una paciencia increíble y si no la tenía pues y conmigo la produjo jajaja. Se dice fácil : Un ejemplo de mujer. Pero sólo el que realmente la ha conocido a ella puede entender tan bien como yo de que hablo. Sin ebargo creo que todos tenemos mamá ( o una mujer que nos ha cuidado de alguna manera) así que espero esto sea muy familiar para tí.
So, the woman I am talking about is not defined only by her body strength, if not, even more by her mental strength that is capable of moving mountains. It seems strange but I learned that important lesson thanks to sports and @joelsegovia that never allowed me to give less than I could give.
Entonces, la mujer de la que hablo no se define solo por su fortaleza corporal, si no, más aún por su fortaleza mental que es capaz de mover montañas. Parece extraño pero esa importante lección la aprendí gracias al deporte y joel que nunca me permitió dar menos de lo que podía dar.
Throughout my life I have practiced various sports, swimming, table tennis volleyball and even olympic weightlifting, yes, I practiced weightlifting despite the paradigms I had since I considered it a sport for men but the coach managed to capture my attention and in just 2 hours he made me fall in love with that discipline. He said:
A lo largo de mi vida he practicado varios deportes, natación, voleibol tenis de mesa e incluso levantamiento de pesas olímpico, si, practique halterofilia a pesar de los paradigmas que tenía ya que lo consideraba un deporte para hombres pero el entrenador logró captar mi atencion y en solo 2 horas hizo que me enamorara de esa disciplina. Él decía:,
"80% mind and 20% technical"
“80% mente y 20% técnica”
No matter how hard you practice the movements if you do not strengthen your mind you are more likely to fail.
No importa lo mucho que practiques los movimientos si no fortaleces tu mente es más probable que falles.
That ability you have to overcome a new challenge every day, a new difficulty I learned more deeply with the weights.
Esa capacidad que tienes de superar dia a dia un nuevo reto, una nueva dificultad la aprendí más hondamente con las pesas.
Attitude, perseverance, discipline in everything you do, the rest will come later.

Las dificultades no me resto fuerza al contrario me ayudó a levantarme con mayor determinación, fuerza y ACTITUD para lograr todo lo que me he propuesto sin engañarme a mi misma con las trampas que mentalmente el ser humano se ve envuelto sin percatarse que el momento es hoy y ahora, para luego es tarde. 🙋

Damn! That's an amazing work. Very beautiful and a good color combination. I had like to see your steps.
Later I noticed that I had not done a better backup of my steps during work (I see that it is fundamental for every creator). Since this is my first drawing in photoshop I didn't think it would have that result, in fact at the beginning I was not sure if I was going to publish it.
But the hours passed and I was still there, improving every detail until I was working on it for two days. Definitely this type of work and very stubborn people have strengthened my patience so much that I think it is one of the best.
The image above was the best result I got by taking a few shots of a very, very long process. (Luckily I always save my works several times and under different names.)
I know that this does not compare with the work of a true painter but I think I have been improving compared to my previous drawing in IbisPaint. I did that drawing on a borrowed phone because mine is to basic, since I didn'tt have that cell phone I was forced to use photoshop and this is what I did:
I put my face in the back layer and with the brush I gave over it capturing the different shades with the contagots. Play with the brush to modify its opacity and its hardness to achieve the details I wanted.
The hair was created with a special brush, I randomly made many strokes using various shades of brown.
Here I had already achieved my goal which was to paint myself as realistic as possible.
For the background and the crown, I made the restoration of the reference's picture since that one has very little quality, so I redrew everything using the contagotas. I finally applied a spray filter to give it more comic features.
I suggest you should picture what you want to achieve before you commence the wark.
I like the fact you took time to create this piece. Patience is always the key to getting it right.
