Yeah, do not be hard on yourself is one important lesson to learn. When this pandemic started and every one was on a serious isolation, i rushed myself on the mindset that when next my colleagues sees me on the guitar that will fear me the more.
But it got to a point that I said in pidgin English "i cannot come and kill myself". I had to hold and pay attention to other aspects of my life and rehearse when I need to.
Yeah I play the guitar, and I know the guitar fingering is quite similar to that of violin because I was once interested in learning it as well.
