Mi nombre es Robertsis Cabrera, soy de Venezuela tengo 22 años y Nací en Aragua pero antes de tener memorias me mude a Guárico, el corazón y centro de Venezuela. Tengo la dicha de tener una familia muy unida, conformada por mis padres y una hermana 2 años mayor que yo.

My name is Robertsis Cabrera, I am from Venezuela, I am 22 years old and I was born in Aragua but before I have memories I moved to Guárico, the heart and center of Venezuela. I have the happiness of having a very united family, conformed by my parents and a sister 2 years older than me.

Dedico mi tiempo libre a muchas cosas entre ellas escuchar música, leer manga, libros o cualquier cosa que llame mi atención, pasar tiempo con mi familia y amigos, ser una total aficionada por la cultura japonesa y el anime ( lo que le podríamos llamar ser otaku) pero sin dudas lo que mas me apasiona es el dibujo, ¡esto último es lo que me ha traído a la comunidad de hive! el querer compartir con ustedes un poco de este pasatiempo.

I dedicate my free time to many things among them listening to music, reading manga, books or anything that catches my attention, spending time with my family and friends, being a total fan of Japanese culture and anime (what we could call being otaku) but without a doubt what I love the most is drawing, this last one is what has brought me to the hive community! I want to share with you a little bit of this hobby.

Pero antes les contare una historia, una historia con un plot twist familiar, de como robé a mi hermana el puesto de artista de la familia. Cuando éramos niñas mi hermana siempre mostró un talento y facilidad sorprendentes para el arte y las manualidades mientras yo a duras penas tenia éxito en dibujar un hombre de palitos, por esto mismo mis padres deciden inscribirnos juntas en un curso de dibujo, donde mi hermana mejoraría sus dotes y yo aprendería las técnicas básicas. Una vez finalizamos el nivel correspondiente para cada una en dicho curso, donde como mencioné antes aprendería lo básico de lo básico, lo dejamos ya que mi hermana al ser asmática se veía afectada por la pintura y yo no tenia un verdadero interés en ese momento.

But first I will tell you a story, a story with a familiar plot twist, of how I stole my sister's place as the family artist. When we were children my sister always showed an amazing talent and facility for art and crafts while I barely succeeded in drawing a stick man, so my parents decided to enroll us together in a drawing course, where my sister would improve her skills and I would learn the basic techniques. Once we finished the corresponding level for each of us in that course, where as I mentioned before I would learn the basics of the basics, we stopped because my sister being asthmatic was affected by painting and I had no real interest at that time.

Luego de esto yo no haría dibujos mucho mas allá de lo necesario para la escuela y mi hermana de apoco se fue interesando en otras cosas, entonces hubo un bum en mi vida, mi mejor amigo me introdujo a las series anime. Esta llegada no fue tan espontanea como se podría pensar, desde siempre tuve un cariñoso recuerdo de series que vi en mi infancia como "Samurai X", "YuYu Hakusho" o "MewMew Power" y por eso me interese por reencontrarme con una de las series mas importantes de mi infancia: Inuyasha, al finalizar esa serie vi otra, y luego otra y otra mas! para cuando me di cuenta estaba metida de lleno y nació una incógnita en mí: ¿Podre dibujar a Inuyasha?. Y para mi felicidad y con mucho titubeo la respuesta fue Si!

After that I wouldn't draw much more than what was necessary for school and my sister became interested in other things, then there was a boom in my life, my best friend introduced me to anime series. This arrival was not as spontaneous as you might think, I always had a fond memory of series I saw in my childhood as "Samurai X", "YuYu Hakusho" or "MewMew Power" and that's why I was interested in meeting again with one of the most important series of my childhood: Inuyasha, at the end of that series I saw another, and then another and another! by the time I realized I was fully involved and a question was born in me: Can I draw Inuyasha? And to my happiness and with much hesitation the answer was Yes!

De allí en adelante comenzó un camino de mucha pero mucha práctica, dibujaba casi a diario en clases y mientras no estaba dibujando estaba viendo alguna serie o leyendo algún manga, los años han pasado y ya es muy raro que dibuje algún personaje, pero dibujo lo que viene a mi mente con mas seguridad y menos chueca. En cuanto mi hermana dejo de dibujar hace mucho pero sigue teniendo destreza para las manualidades, es un chiste interno el cómo Robertsis paso de no hacer nada a hacer dibujos mas elaborados que dejan cada día mas sorprendidos a mis fans número uno: mi familia y amigos.

From there on a path of lots and lots of practice began, I drew almost daily in class and while I was not drawing I was watching a series or reading a manga, the years have passed and it is now very rare that I draw any character, but I draw what comes to my mind with more security and less crooked. As for my sister, she stopped drawing a long time ago but she still has a knack for arts and crafts, it's an inside joke how Robertsis went from doing nothing to making more elaborate drawings that leave my number one fans, my family and friends, more and more amazed every day.

Llegando a la actualidad, poco a poco he logrado abrirme entre mis miedos e introversión y con el apoyo de mis mejores amigos y familia, lograr mostrar mis dibujos! Espero poder crecer en esta plataforma y que ustedes sean espectadores de como mis dibujos mejoran mas, en fin es un gusto presentarme, nos vemos pronto.

I've been able to open up little by little between my fears and introversion and with the support of my best friends and family, I've been able to show my drawings!
