[ESP-ENG] ¡Fuimos a la Santa Cruz! ¡We went to the Holy Cross!

En fin, continuamos caminando hasta llegar a su hogar donde salude a toda su familia para luego instalarnos a estudiar porque teníamos entre ceja y ceja el parcial de embriología que estaba a la vuelta de la esquina.

Pero no sólo íbamos a estudiar sino que al día siguiente planeabamos encontrarnos muy temprano en la mañana en el centro del pueblo con otra amiga e ir a la Santa Cruz (que es básicamente una cruz en todo el tope de una montaña) que por lo que entiendo tiene un significado especial en época de semana Santa y así fue... solo que la idea era encontrarnos a las 7am pero llegamos tipo 9am porque nos levantamos tarde como consecuencia de eso el sol estaba súper fuerte, menos mal llevé una chaqueta para protegerme y bastante agua.

Emprendimos el camino que me tenía algo nerviosa porque estaba bastante empinado y rocoso, a pesar de eso estaba muy entusiasmada. Era un sendero solitario pero quizás hasta era mejor porque lo teníamos todo para nosotros, contábamos chistes, tomábamos fotos, nos reíamos, etc. Yo llegué a un punto en el que comencé a cansarme mucho y pedí que nos paráramos para descansar mientras calculaba cuánto nos faltaba para llegar. Después de tomar una buena bocanada de aire junto con mucha agua seguimos caminando, mis amigos si estaban algo agotados pero no tanto como yo hehe porque volví a pedir otro descanso hahaha perdonenme chicos es que no estoy acostumbrada, seguimos luego de la segunda parada y por fiiiin llegamos.

Anyway, we continued walking until we reached his home where he greeted all his family and then settled down to study because we had between eyebrows the partial embryology that was just around the corner.

But not only were we going to study but the next day we planned to meet very early in the morning in the center of town with another friend and go to the Santa Cruz (which is basically a cross on the entire top of a mountain). I understand it has a special meaning at Easter time and so it was ... only that the idea was to meet at 7am but we arrived at 9am because we got up late as a result of that the sun was super strong, thank goodness I took a jacket to protect myself and plenty of water.

We started the path that had me a little nervous because it was quite steep and rocky, despite that I was very excited. It was a lonely path but maybe it was even better because we had everything to ourselves, we told jokes, we took photos, we laughed, etc. I reached a point where I started to get very tired and asked that we stop to rest while I calculated how much time we had to go. After taking a good breath of air along with a lot of water we continued walking, my friends were somewhat exhausted but not as much as me hehe because I asked for another break hahaha, excuse me guys, I'm not used to it, we continue after the second stop and finally we arrived.

Es una cruuuz enorme con la que me topé allá arriba y desde esa altura se puede apreciar toda Lagunillas incluso hasta otros pueblos cercanos. Cantamos Eureka por haber llegado.

Luego de juguetear alla arriba, correr, explorar, conocer, hablar y y compartir lastimosamente ya era hora de partir así que empezamos a bajar la montaña, a ese punto sí hubo unos cuantos resbalones que nos asustaron porque casi nos caiamos varias veces hasta hubo momentos en el que no encontramos cual había sido el camino por el que habíamos subido pero a pesar de eso llegamos bien y nos fuimos hacia la casa de mi amiga.

Llegamos a las doce del mediodía hicieron almuerzo y nos comimos una deliciosa pasta con carne molida y un batido de banana con mora que mi amiga preparó. La continuación del plan de ir hasta allá era que una vez bajaramos de la Santa Cruz nos pusiéramos a estudiar vigorosamente pero amigos esto obviamente no iba a suceder jajaja porque además de hablar/vagar toda la tarde ella se ofreció en hacerme unas uñitas que le quedaron super lindas (ella está aprendiendo el arte de hacer manicura y la verdad es que lo está haciendo muy bien, le apasiona mucho) .

Para concluir nos empezó a caer la noche y debíamos devolvernos, así que nos despedimos Y empezamos a subir pasando nuevamente nuevamente por la laguna mientras nos comíamos un dulcito

After playing up there, running, exploring, meeting, talking and sharing unfortunately it was time to leave so we started to go down the mountain, at that point there were a few slips that scared us because we almost fell several times there were even moments when the one that we did not find which had been the way we had climbed but despite that we got there well and we went to my friend's house.

We arrived at noon they made lunch and we ate a delicious pasta with ground meat and a banana smoothie with blackberry that my friend prepared. The continuation of the plan to go there was that once we got down from Santa Cruz we began to study vigorously but friends this obviously was not going to happen hahaha because in addition to talking / wandering all afternoon she offered to make me some nails that were left super cute (she is learning the art of manicure and the truth is that she is doing it very well, she is very passionate about it).

To conclude, night began to fall on us and we had to return, so we said goodbye and began to climb again, passing through the lagoon again while we ate a candy.
