Hello everybody. Recently there was Nicholas and he brought me a lot, including acrylic paints. I decided to draw something Christmas and share the process of creation with you.
For a start, I grabbed a blank piece of paper.

I found one beautiful picture on Pinterest and try to repeat it. It was a still life with tangerine cinnamon sticks and Christmas tree twigs. To begin, I drew a sketch with a simple pencil.

I began to grind the picture from the table. I took the lightest brown paint and used it to paint the whole area where the table was supposed to be.
And the verse added blue ropes.

then I started adding color shadows and so on ...

then I painted the top background blue. And in the left corner I was a little numb.

The following pictures for some reason did not survive, so I'll just describe the stages of creating this picture. I decided that while the background dries, I will deal with tangerines. I printed orange, light brown and white paint on the palpit. But the tangerine that was peeled turned out to be more or less like a tangerine, and the other four turned out to look like some apples.
After I finished painting the mandarin, I started drawing Christmas tree twigs.
At first I drew one needle, then I realized that this is how I will draw all year round and decided to draw easier, but then I regretted it and broke some twigs. And that's what I learned as a result.
