Hello hivers, an happy Saint Stephen Day! I hope you spent a nice Christmas Day with you family and/or friends!
Today is the Saint Stephen Day and usually me and my hubby @paolobeneforti spent this day in relax and walking around to move our old bones and to clean our minds before all the food we ate in the past 2 days.
A light lunch (just a salad!) and we enjoyed the Sun that was shining over my city.
You know our favorite place where to walk is not so far from home, along the side of the river close to us, where ducks and birds live.
To be honest, my mood is up and downduring these days. Up because I like the Christmas time, when the air smell of good things and everything around looks so brilliant, full of light and positive vibes. Down because it reminds me the time when my dad (who passed away around 3 years ago) loved the Christmas Day more than myself. He loved so much to have all the family together around the table and the house of my parents was full of Christmas decoration. Since he passed away everything looks to smell of nostalgia, especially during the Christmas Day, so I do my best to stay up for my mother and for my daughter to help them to feel the Christmas spirit the best, but when the Christmas Day is ending a little nostalgia come to me. To fight the down mood, I use to walk and walk and walk, to breath the fresh air and to move myself help me to make me feel good enough. ❤️
I like to watch all the ducks and birds in that corner of my city and I feel myself calm and quiet. It's not just a simple walk, but it's also a nice way to recharge my mental energy. ❤️
Now I feel the need to sketch something new and this is good.
