Sundarbans , the world biggest Mangrove Forest. The home of Royal Bengle Tiger
After the mighty strom Amphan I went to the coastal area of the Sundarbans too see the miseries and the sufferings of the people who have lost their home, domestic animals and plants. In that time i also gave a short trip in the Sundarbans on a small fishing boat.
I reached Munshiganj very early in the morning . Then me & my uncle hired a small fishing boat with a fisherman and a boatman
A typical fishing boat of Bangladesh
Atfer getting the boat we started our journey . Munshiganj is located on the north bank of Malancha river. And the south bank is Sundarbans. We entered a canal in the middle of the Sundarbans across the Malancha River
The Malancha River...Which on one bank is civilization and the other bank is the world biggest Mangrove forest Sundarbans
We went through a canal inside Sundabans
The place is full of biodiversity. The place is full of snakes, crab, snails and kinds of unknown small animals and trees. There is a creepy thing in the Sundarbans. Sometimes one or two of crab-catching boats can be seen. We went about two kilometers deep inside the Sundarbans.
Snails on the tree
After Amphan, many trees in the forest were uprooted. Many biodiversity has been lost.
Some uprooted trees under tidal water
The trees here are full of fruits. Some are eatable some are not. But I collected some fruits from those trees which are not eatable
The fruits from Sundari, Garan Hetal trees
In the noon we came back to Munshiganj again through a canal then Malancha River. Then I went to see the miserable life story of the people of the coastal area.
Coming back through the canal
How miserable life leads the people of costal area !!! I will let you know some other day.
Stay with me... Stay with hive family
