Hi all @hive community friends, how are you today? May we be in good health and always in His protection. Amen! Today I will share my activities for the day in the @hive community, hope you enjoy it. In the month of Dzulhijjah, there are many kinds of worship that are recommended to be carried out by all Muslims, ranging from fasting from the 1st to the 9th, performing Eid al-Adha prayers, performing sacrifices and others. Especially regarding the sacrifice, all Muslims are encouraged to sacrifice on Eid al-Adha or Tasyriq days if they are able. There are several lessons related to the recommendation to sacrifice on the day of Eid al-Adha or the days of Tasyriq. Mentioned in Darul Ifta 'Al-Mishriyah, there are at least three lessons why it is recommended to sacrifice on Eid al-Adha. First, to give thanks to Allah for the various blessings He has given us. Among the forms of gratitude to Allah is to follow His orders by means of sacrifice on the day of Eid al-Adha. This is because the sacrifice on Eid al-Adha is part of His command. The command to sacrifice is as stated by Allah in the following surah Al-Kautsar: Indeed, We have given you (Muhammad) many blessings. So pray for your Lord, and sacrifice (as worship and draw closer to Allah). Indeed, it is those who hate you who are cut off (from Allah's mercy). Second, to revive the teachings or sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim. As we know that Prophet Ibrahim was ordered to slaughter his son, Prophet Ismail. Receiving the order, Prophet Ibrahim patiently wanted to carry out the order. But the order was finally canceled by Allah and instead Prophet Ibrahim was ordered to slaughter a goat on the day of Eid al-Adha. Third, slaughtering sacrificial animals is part of the intermediary to expand rizki to oneself, family, neighbors, friends and the poor on Eid al-Adha. And expanding sustenance, both to oneself, family, neighbors and giving alms to the poor are teachings and sunnah that have been carried out by the Prophet SAW.
