Today was a very difficult day for me and my family, or at least the first half of the day.
We have 4 cats that we look after in our garden. They are a family. The biggest cat is the mother and the other 3 are her offsprings.
They don’t live inside with us, but we always feed them and take care of them whenever they get sick or need something. We also take them to veterinary when there is a serious health-related situation or let them live inside the house whenever the weather is cold. In short, they are our cats and we love them more than anything else.
Normally, they always stay inside our garden and sometimes walk around other streets, but no matter what happens, they always come in the mornings and evenings to have their meals. It’s been this way for over a year and they never missed a single morning or evening.
But, this morning, the oldest cat, that is , the mother, didn’t show up. We have waited for the whole morning for her to come but she didn’t.
As the time passed with no sings from her, we started to worry more as we knew she was hungry and we didn’t have any explanation for what might had happen.
We also remembered that she had a fight the night before with another cat, but it wasn’t anything serious so it couldn’t have been a reason for her dissappearance.
I had to leave the house at 1.30PM, and she still wasn’t there. We toured around the neighborhood for multiple times with my mother but we couldn’t find her anywhere. My mother also had to leave at around 4.30PM, and she still hadn’t come.
We didn’t know what to do or where to go as we had looked everywhere around the neighborhood with no result. We spent the whole day worrying and thinking about what might have happened.
Thankfully, at around 7PM, I got a call from my father who said that he had just arrived at the house and the cat was in the garden. We felt extreme relief and happiness and our day got ten times better afterwards.
I returned back home as fast as I could and hugged her thousands of times.
We also had a little photoshoot even though she didn’t quite look at the camera :)
