Cuentan los abuelos que subían a las montañas a cazar y en su camino, frente a ellos una hermosa pato de oro, por sus deseos de obtener cada una de las plumas, las personas salían a perseguirla y perdían el camino de regreso a casa, otros abuelos cuentan que cuando veían que la pato se metía a la laguna, en el fondo de ella empezaban a brillar muchos huevos en el fondo, pero aquellos que se metían a la laguna a robarse los huevos jamás salían de nuevo.
